In Todays video we follow Tom and anyone else he can find to help him in his quest to build advanced military vehicles with which to dominate the local settlements of the Rimworld he finds himself stuck on.

Rimworld's Steam description for the magical robot goblins -
Rimworld is a sci-fi colony sim driven by an intelligent AI storyteller. Generates stories by simulating psychology, ecology, gunplay, melee combat, climate, biomes, diplomacy, interpersonal relationships, art, medicine, trade, and more, wow... cool... these folks do that with vehicle mounted autocannons.

Not everything in the collection made an appearance in the video but that's everything I had enabled for this playthrough.

Hey folks, here's some Rimworld, have you been playing with these shiny new vehicle mods? Did I get it very wrong or very right? Let me know
  • @r4dios1lence92
How to describe Rimworld to someone who doesn't know it: "I sent a pregnant woman armed with a wood log to detain a escaped prisoner." 10/10
  • @AmbushIntheDark
I love how the canon event in every Hazzor Rimworld video regardless of subject is that Impids can always get fucked.
  • @joewup3953
Man I love these mods. But there is one thing I love more than these mods; Hazzor playing with them.

Hazzor has learned a new lesson: dont put deep drills inside the compond.
  • @user-jm8sy5ox2j
The lesson every rimworld player learns, keep your chemfuel in a shed away from the base or in a blast proof room. Also, make individual bays for drop pod launchers or other vehicles that haul chemfuel so they dont obliderate your base upon being shaken

I love the idea of using vehicle mods to do a roving nomadic-style band of pirates like something out of Mad Max, but the resource cost feels too high to get away with such a nomadic playstyle. You just end up with a huge social/ideoligion penalty for staying in one place for too long, but you have to stay in one place in order to get the materials and the research done. Would be cool to see a version of this that works.

I loved the Lamas in hats reference even though it was Alpacas instead with the rumbles that only hands could satisfy

Rimworld but it's not Rimworld it's building a shelf

This video really showed the power of CE combined with vehicles - in my personal experience, a lot of the vehicles are actually really underpowered due to how vanilla's armor and accuracy calculation work; too often do the guns on vehicles miss all but a few of their rounds, and they take an absolute beating from basic weaponry. It seems when paired with semi-realistic elements of CE, they swing comically in the other direction of being unstoppable killing machines.

It wasnt very safe inside either though. As you said i'll suggest a weird idea. Dragon tamers magic medieval rimworld.
  • >Armadillo falls for the man who shot at her Sounds like your typical romance novel to me.
  • @Orsabell
7:38 Ive had my childhood flash before my eyes. Thanks Carl.

Rimworld is the only game where a cannibal cult with a WW2 era APC can roll up, merc a whole city, take a prisoner, then shoot that prisoner as they attempt an escape, then that prisoner turns to a member of that cult and then falls in love with the very guy that shot her in the face. Rimworld truly is an amazing story generator. My favorite was when I did a Mechanist run and my shut-in mechanist that had perks that made him like being alone and indoors... had his daughter fall from the sky. She had similar perks minus the " I wanna be alone " - but regardless I had different compounds built for both, each guarded by a single mini-turret and a duo of Militors. Eventually my mech guy begins talking with his daughter more. They begin eating together despite having many other options for tables, all excellent quality from our constructor. They start eating and chatting. Eventually his adoration for his daughter outweighs his debuff from " I don't like human contact " - and the two of them over time become deadly augmented super soldiers. Eventually? His wife falls from the sky too. It became a family of augmented humans that killed their way through small towns 20 - 30 people, mortars and heavy turrets strong. Uranium slug chain shotguns, advanced rifles and such used to decimate entire civilizations. A trio of Crysis protagonists that would show up and literally punch the heads off of people.
  • Ah yes. Another Hazzor upload. No joke, every time you upload I get excited! The narration is fun, editing and your voice combined makes for really entertaining stories. Keep on going man, love your content!
  • @swiss4366
Love these, they always re-inspire me to play Rimworld, right now I'm looking over a colony of blind wizards.
  • @TheLostWill
I love how no base you have last forever. They always fall, either because they decided to blow it all up, it falls to bugs, mechs or megasloths and usually there's one survivor shaking in the corner. Except for that one mountain man who jacks off in the kitchen, he'll outlive the sun.
  • 2:12 Despite his criminal mind, Tom is behaving well. His reward is the dirt bike, he may sit at the dirt bike for up to an hour.
  • fun fact: at the time where you made this, the legionary (the bot with the shield) had a bug in CE, giving its normally 50hp shield a few hundred instead
