CSM and I met at the Atlanta VA hospital when I was on the psych ward, she saved my life. She invited me to move and live near her and her husband. They did so much for me and I can never repay her for her love and compassion. Congratulations CSM Evans.

Evans inspired me tonight. She represents what is great about our country and our service personnel. Truly unbroken. Excellent program tonight.

What is in us is stronger than anything against us. I’m so proud of Mrs. Gretchen. She is so inspiring and such a beautiful woman inside and out! It was a pleasure being around her and receiving her knowledge.

the best part of this speech was the bit about the dogs. Much better species than humans.

When Pat Tillman passed away, it was the nudge that pushed me through the door at the army recruiters in 2004. This world might be crazy because of people, but I still believe in humanity. A bald eagle can only fly when both left wing, and the right wing, work together.

Wow!

They did what Pat Tillman didn’t want. He didn’t want to be a symbol or have an award or a building named after him.
