My biggest barrier to vacumming is that my cat is terrified of the vacuum cleaner. Even the sight of it scares him so I keep it hidden in a toy box and try to vacuum quickly when he is outside.

If I decide at some point my house needs a professional cleaning, what questions should I ask in an interview and what should the answers be? A video on this would be great.

Great tips. Just curious, does no one use a hoover with a lead/cord these days, rather than a cordless one? I’m in the UK & have a Henry hoover & he’s great, especially his smiley face. I also still use a mop & bucket. Also, I know that loo brush thing is great but what do you do if someone does a no 2 in between cleaning the loo? Do you have a normal loo brush for this?

my husband passed away a little over 2 1/2 years ago and I have no energy. The desire is there to clean it, but I feel overwhelmed from the get-go… I tried doing a little at a time, but I still have no energy, it’s not hoarders, but it is definitely cluttered. I have more stuff than I have room for and I just do not honestly know where to begin… I am overwhelmed before I even start…. I tried doing a list, I cannot stick to it… If I am cleaning the dining room, suddenly I see something in the living room that I need to pick up and I get distracted and get back to where I started. Can you help?
