Pearl jam was one of my dads favorite bands, He passed away at 46 this year from cancer. He introduced me to so many great bands pearl jam being one them. Hes gone but in a way through things like music and memories he will always be within me.

This song means everything to me. It attached itself to my life many years ago, it helped me, it saved me, and I'm crying now just thinking of how special everything is, because of this beautiful, wonderful, amazing song.

Survived the last summer with a broken heart, hard times, and it still hurts every day I think about this woman. Survived a serious motorcycle accident this summer. Feels like a bad movie every night. But I still alive. See what the future brings. First, I'm alive.

So weird, I have NEVER listened to this band, never. Yet here I am, in Colombia SA, 65 years old listening to this entire album for the second time tonight...must be going senile, eh? Or maybe I am finally waking up! Ha, regardless diggin it for sure!

Eddie’s voice still brings me to tears time to time because the passion behind his voice is unmatched in the music from this era. Pearl Jam is still and always will be a one of a kind fire that keeps all our souls nice and warm with appreciation for their surreal lyrics and composition. With many of the greats departed, it is truly a gift they are all still playin strong.
