Anna Kendrick Isn't Pretending

Oh hey, our boy has a viral video! This got randomly recommended as a video and when I saw what channel it was I was like "I KNOW RENZY!!" Super cool to see you blow up like this!

I managed a popular restaurant in Hollywood for a couple years before the Pandemic and we’d constantly have celebrities dine with us but Anna Kendrick was somewhat of a regular. She was the sole celebrity I semi got to know and let me tell you, she is exactly who you see in these clips, but so much more down-to-earth. She’s super confident, funny, and comfortable to be around. She never took herself too seriously. One night a song by The Spice Girls came on and she just stood up and started singing along. Whenever she was there, people just had a good time around her. Just a cool girl. Thought I’d share cause she made a great impression upon me🤷🏻‍♂️

Remember when people thought that she was going to go nowhere after playing a tiny role in Twilight? Look at her now 😊

She actually actively talks in the moment. When her eyes go up it's not to read cue cards its literally to process the conversation she's having. Mad respect.

The thing about Anna is that she never seems to take herself too seriously. That's a good thing for anyone.

I’ve always liked her in her movies that I’ve seen, but I’ll always click on an interview with her. Her authenticity in interviews is so refreshing compared to most Hollywood stars.

she just seems real asf. good for her for making it in an industry that prioritizes inauthenticity. she was legit as a kid and legit as an adult, i like her a lot.

She has a spectacular mix of wit, confidence, and self awareness. Absolutely born to be an entertainer.

I haven’t seen all of her work but she’s always been flawless as an actress. After watching this video I think she’s quite fabulous. I like that she’s quite a reserved and introverted person with her friends. Makes me like her even more! 😊

I grew up/live in portland and my voice teacher was in a choir with Anna in middle school. She always talks about how sweet she was while also being the most hard working kid in the group. I always get so excited when someone mentions her cause it's like "yeah! that's my girl! from the place im from!"

I’m a huge fan of Anna’s work and her chaotic press tours. Hopefully she’ll never change and she’ll keep getting work… can you imagine how unfiltered she’ll be at 80?

I perused her Twitter and was surprised at how witty and relatable she is. I like her sense of humor. "Sometimes the only reason I leave my house is so when someone asks about my day I don’t have to say, 'Netflix and avoiding responsibilities.'" "It's cute how I used to think this 'barely-holding-it-together' feeling was temporary." "I don’t want to say I’m misusing dry shampoo, but the can says 'shake well,' and I haven’t done anything 'well' in years." "I don't get why girls paint the 'Chanel' logo on their nails... I could tattoo it on my ass but it doesn't mean I'm fancy." "If you're not supposed to eat at night, why is there a light in the fridge?"

Anna Kendrick is just a classic Mainer. I graduated from the same high school as her but we didnt overlap. Friends of mine who did go to school with her all have said she was one of the normal play geek kids that every school has and was rarely ever at school by the time high school hit. Portland is a relatively small place so it's really cool to see somebody from here become so successful.

I feel the same way abou Kirsten Stewart, both these ladies are just awkwardly honest in their interviews, you can't help but recognise their vulnerability and authenticity

I saw the thumbnail and was very intrigued, and it basically boils down to: “She’s a very normal person and that’s rare for this industry.” Very cool!

Anna Kendrick, Jennifer Lawrence, Kristen Stewart, Rachel Ziegler, and Renee Rapp are all so real and human in interviews and are labeled as annoying or whatever for it. They could never make me hate these girls

A mad actress with mad intelligence but also tons of humility. Just love her.

Coming from a theater background explains a lot. Theater kids/adults are built different than film kids/adults. The name of the game is rejection but its not flashy like hollywood. It builds a lot of humility

She always stood out to me for being very self aware and intelligent glad she made it.
