I just peel the fondant off. So long as the cake is good it doesn't really matter because fondant peels off so easily.

I don't understand people who complain about fondant. It's decoration, you don't eat other decorations. The cake, filling, and frosting are there for flavor, the decorations are for aesthetic.

I know that many people don’t agree but I love fondant. The texture feels so good for me and I actually like the sweetness, so I always eat it happily!

I actually love fondant. I have yet to find a type of buttercream that I enjoy though. And the thing is, you can peel off fondant quite easily, whereas it's not as easy to remove the buttercream.
