Labour to axe Bibby Stockholm barge used to house asylum seekers

The vessel had been used to house asylum seekers while their claims were processed.
Labour had described it as a "white elephant".
Axing the barge is part of an expected £7.7bn of savings in asylum costs over the next decade, the Home Office said.

There are huge numbers of homeless over 60s Englishmen with no chance of being housed. They'd love a place on that boat.

Why put them on a barge when there are hotels with room service available? Then rush through the paperwork and make the illegals legal to manupulate the figures. Might as well just not bother with border security.
