I don’t expect you to actually read this but in case you do. My husband was diagnosed with stomach cancer as well in June of 2022. He watched your performance of don’t let the old man in - it has uplifted his spirit. He gets so down sometimes and you have given him hope. He was 280 and it now struggling to get back to 160. Thank you Toby

When he left this earth, God took him to his eternal home. It costs nothing to be a decent human, and he was a good man.

Just found this. We all will miss you Toby. You were a lucky kid from Oklahoma who was able to realize his biggest dream. You went down swinging brother. Now the world is a lesser place without you in it. Say hello to God from all Of us. 🙏

I will never miss someone I never met personally more than I miss Toby❤ Rest easy
  • Toby was real. If we had more people like him, this world would be a better place. The reason why so many people loved him was because they saw a friend in Toby , not just a great performer. He will be missed!

So many wonderful comments about a man who lived his life with God by his side and his love of his country. Thank you for being strong and not hiding your love of both.
  • It's February today you lost his battle with stomach cancer. I'm not a country & western music fan but I found respect for you as a husband & dad & grandad today as I stream various vids of u today. A new found respect for ur talent. I sincerely hope you found peace on the other side & let go of the pain dying from cancer. Rip Toby. I know ur family & friends & fans will miss you greatly.🎉😢

December 14th You have another show today sure wish I could be there... The show will just have to go on without me😅, 1 day I'll make it to my first concert and I will see you ,until then much love❤🙏 God speed... A loyal fan😊
  • Even though I knew he was sick I was still shocked. I didn't want to think about country music and the state of Oklahoma without him. He was and probably will be one of the biggest OU fans and supporter around. He was a fixture on the sidelines and arena. He will be missed!😢
  • I felt sad hearing Toby say he wishes his dad could have been there. Toby sounds like he was a great supportive father. Wonderful guy, sad he left us way too soon.
