15 Marvel Scenes That Were Dangerous To Film

No Marvel movie is complete without some explosive action and crazy stunts, but who knew that sometimes making these hit blockbusters could actually get a little dangerous! In fact, sometimes your favorite Marvel stars got a little bit too much out of their comfort zones in order to give us the superhero flicks we know and love! Sometimes stars like Tom Holland, Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Jeremy Renner and Sebastian Stan like to get in on the action and perform their own stunts. After breaking both of his arms on the set of another film, Jeremy Renner had to bear through the pain of using his bow and arrow as Hawkeye, because what would the character be without his signature weapon of choice! While there have been plenty of other occurrences where stuntmen and women suit up and perform some of the explosives stunts, standing in for Chris Evans, Benedict Cumberbatch, Evangeline Lily, Chris Hemsworth, and Robert Downey Jr! From diving from a helicopter into a lake, being hoisted back at rocket speed after being face first with an explosion, or jumping from truck to truck, these scenes weren’t easy to film! Stuntmen and women such as Daniel Hargrave, Glenn Foster, Marvin Ross, Ingrid Kleinig, and George Kirkby make a living off of standing in for some of the biggest stars at Marvel! Sometimes the costumes can be so uncomfortable or the masks can be so hard to see out of that it makes filming these scenes even more nerve wrecking. Stuntman Chris Romrell could barely see out of his Star-Lord mask while filming an action scene which led him to making quite the tumble, shattering the mask! Regardless, it’s the commitment to the craft that makes these movies all the more special!

    The Hawkeye one could easily be fixed with a different material for the string of the bow so the pressure would be alleviated.

    Ok just in case you guys haven’t seen it but I recently saw a video about marvel characters who’ve have taken props from the movie this video about how they sometimes experience pain sometimes really makes me realize that after every movie they do they should be able to take what ever they want.
