The man that brought me to waxing my chains, now bringing me to order a ali-wheelset. Had my doubts, but after your in-depth review, no questions left. Thank you, good man!

The most comprehensive wheelset review ever! Great job!

I’ve been using these for a bit as well. I’ve noticed a marked increase in acceleration and climbing. Now my climb performance has upgraded from terrible to less terrible. Great video!
  • Brilliant review! Thanks for all the info you continuously provide!
  • This is not a review. This is an autopsy. Awesome job mate! 👍

This is one of the best reviews I've ever watched! Brilliantly explained and presented, just wish I had the money to buy myself a pair of these hoops now 😂
  • Great review learnt more in a few minutes than I have in awhile. Thanks for info and your knowledge

Good call on the TLR to tube tyre weight difference. I've never cared to check. Probably would be lighter with a clincher + latex tube than TLR + 40g of sealant. Just lose the puncture protection. Great review, as always.
  • Note about carbon spokes. I was @ 225lbs when I started riding my winspace wheels. 1st spoke to break was rear wheel at the threads. rim went barely out of true and I made it home. The next time I broke spokes because my derailler committed suicide and dove into the spokes accelerating out of a corner. Took 3 out but the wheel didn't fail. It has been repaired and no problems since. I think the tensions are so high if you lose one you good chance of making it home. But it is a negative that you cant make an adjustment on the road in a jam with a spoke tool

hello OZ Cycle excellent review on the wheels. Well done. Shall consider purchasing a pair.
  • @bourquek
I’m surprised no one has mentioned it yet but those strange looking tire levers look exactly like the ones that come with Campagnolo carbon wheels!

I was struggling to true this wheel but was grateful when you explained that truing had to be done from the spoke hole with a 5.5mm socket. Can you give me some tips on how to radially true an asymmetrical 14 spoke/7 spoke setup such as these Elite wheels? Thanks so much for this review and any help you can provide!

I use an Aldi track pump too, but the gauge is one bar out. I advise putting a label on the pump as a reminder...

Hi Oz cycle. I purchased a set of Elite rims, they initially came as thru axle and after a bit of back and forward they sent out qr adaptors, unfortunately the diameter of the qr adaptors seem a little to largeto fit my frame ! So having a great deal of pain trying to get this sorted ! Starting to think I should of just spent locally.

Given the vagaries of resin/finish coat, I think I'd measure lateral deviation on the inside mounting face rather than than the exterior of the rim like you would do with a metal rim - probably a more accurate view of lateral true.

If I may ask. Do these wheels roll well? Are they on par with the dura ace c50? Honest advice thank you
  • Great review! Did you use or review their 36t ratchet hub (name of the hub is RD13, it is used in BWT, Marvel, SLR and Edge disc models)? They say, that it is a good clone of DT Swiss 240 hubs with TPI bearings (a little heavier than original 240, but much more lighter than 350).
  • @Halfhand
thanks for the video! very informational, loved every minute of it
  • Been using the Rubino Pro for five years, and I really like them. Fairly puncture resistant, not as good as some Continental, but they are some lighter.
