In our house, Deep Sea Adventure is called Rick Drowns Us All. This is because every time we play it Rick drowns us all.

Matt and Quinns are always adorable but this review kicked that goofy childlike tendency into high gear and I loved it.
  • I have seen every SUSD episode ever and this is my favorite episode of all time.

Thumbs up for Animal Vegetable Mineral. Tip: never choose quartz it's too easy, I usually go for iron pyrite or selenium. Ha no one ever guesses selenium!

DSA is a game loved by everyone I've shown it to. Introduced my father in law to it last Christmas time and he told me he was awake till 4am that night trying to work out the best way to play it. I told him it's quite simple, you either play cautiously or as a dick.

At 4:00 - Matt’s genuine and innocent delivery and Quinn’s dumbfounded reaction might just be the best skit you’ve ever done

Deep Sea Adventure is a goddamned treasure. Fight me.

"H2oh no it's in my mouth and lungs" made me bark with laughter.

13:30 The fact they actually bothered to format and write a letter, even briefly, made this bit twice as good. 😂
  • My first Oink game was a Deep Sea Adventures. Me and my friends loved it and after that I started collecting them (10 so far). Some are so-so and others are brilliant. But what I love most about them are their portability. I’ve played them during train rides, at the pub and my friend’s summer cabin. They are easy to put in a pocket and you can often put several in a backpack or a suitcase.
  • DSA and A Fake Artist... are both very popular for lunchtime game sessions. Watching someone weighed down with treasure scratching on the door of the submarine when they just can't... bloody... roll... more... than...a...bloody...two... is marvellous entertainment. Great summary- and I think that Startups will be my next purchase.

I can already see the part 2: Scout, Dokojong, Troll, In A Grove, Fafnir, Moon Adventure, Mr. Face/This Face That Face, Hey Yo, Order Overload, and Quickity Pickity. Maybe even have Tiger & Dragon as a weird "This isn't juice box sized!" sort of thing.

I appreciate the "Nine Tiles Spanking" box edit where you took the time to match the font, and it only appears for like, a second
  • Deep Sea is definitely one of my favorites... I think partly because I like social experiments and it's fun seeing how backstabby and greedy my friends/family get... and it's such a perfect example of the phrase "I don't have to outrun the bear, I just have to outrun you". Seeing the look of sheer panic set in on peoples faces when someone close to the surface decides to pick up another piece of treasure just to use more air is really quite fun... I think something might be wrong with me.

Love it when you do reviews as a duo! This was incredibly entertaining! Sincerely, Vincent Dice Her Majesty's Department of Fun.

This has to be my favorite video by SUSD so far, I keep coming back to rewatch it and still find my self chuckling at it more than I should after having watched it a dozen times.

Australian here and I call it "Animal, Vegetable, Mineral." But the category "mineral" was used for all non-living objects, so it was definitely our most common. Silver? Mineral. Uluru? Mineral. Traffic cone? You better believe that's a mineral.

We seem to have lost our Deep Sea Adventure - though I was amazed with how effective it pulled in even the inexperienced into a great role play! Gasping for air, tugging each other to get back onboard! 😅
