Watching the Medical Examiners explain the high velocity wounds the victims of the Parkland (MSD) school shooting had was horrific. High velocity wounds are very deadly. Not only because of the temporary cavity but because of the trajectory it takes within the body and the tumbling of the bullet. One victim got shot in the right shoulder. The bullet traveled under the collar bone and severed his right subclavian vein and artery. Entered the pericardium lacerating the right main bronchis , lacerating the aorta then passing through the left side of the heart and exiting the lower left portion of the heart. All this damage caused by ONE high velocity rifle round entering the left shoulder area..
