If some people want to use an alternative term instead of the medical term, here are some alternatives that you can use: - Gravity Submissive - Volumetrically Expansive - Space Occupancy Divergent - Elevator Limit Assessor - Weight Lover - Medical Issue Advocate - Food Quantity Prioritization Participator - Altitude Challenged

"If I speak I'm in big trouble" fucking same
  • Don’t worry guys the problem will be gone in 10-15 years
  • Obese people saying they're not obese, they're "curvy" is the equivalent to EA saying loot boxes are not loot boxes, they're "surprise mechanics"

Body positivity stops when it's unhealthy. you can be a little chubby, totally fine. a literal few extra pounds is perfectly fine. When you can hide a sandwich in your folds, that's a severe health issue.

there is: Small fat Mid fat Superfat AND Infinifat. Infinifats are the most oppressed with the most victim points, and their opinions have the most weight. That's what I learned today 🙂
  • 9 out of 10 of these women bitching about people calling them fat will 100% insult a guy for being short, or bald so. The shallowness of this generation is crazy.

Have they just tried identifying as skinny?
  • @Eye_Make
"You could call it the hunger games!"...and I have now spat tea all over my keyboard. Thanks Zack! :D

Shellshock was relegated to disuse because people kept denying they have it even though they do because its not directly related to just being around explosions. We switched over to PTSD because there are a lot of things that can be traumatic stress on people and have serious mental health implications and present the same level of feeling of threat and danger as being in war does even when you haven't ever been to war. So while shellshock being changed it doesn't stop the fact that it is a very real thing, and education on the matter has grown a lot over the years and we got away from thinking PTSD is just something people get while they are at war. We recognize that people with PTSD or Complex PTSD can present from civilian life outside of war or gore etc.

Thank you. I am still overweight. I lost 80 lbs over the past couple years. I am struggling to get the last 50 lbs off. Thanks for helping keep up the inspiration to keep going. Because of my weight, my body started over-producing cerebral spinal fluid, causing headaches and slowly going blind. I didn't even notice the decrease in my vision until a routine eye doctor visit. Even though he is out of my insurance's network now, I pay the extra costs to see him for exams.

Good call out on the “shell shocked” term. It’s been called shell shocked, battle fatigue, and now PTSD.
  • @chocomalk
Obese is a medical term defined as abnormal or excessive fat accumulation that presents a risk to health.

That point Asmon made about that doctor, that he probably was taken out of context, really shows how smart he is.

I wear a 00 curvy. People conflating "fat" and "curvy" drives me crazy.
