WORK DAY IN MY LIFE | I got a new job & life lately

I will be starting a new job on Monday as a Human Resources Manager. I’ve been in the Hr world for 4 years now. I did not graduate college. Gained on the job experience and a boss who was super awesome for giving me a chance as her hr assistant 4 years ago 😊

I’m a Human Resources Assistant at a Bank. I went to school for Communications. Hoping for a promotion soon! Congrats on your new role! I would love a video about how you got acclimated to your new role and how you used your skills to get a new position.

I work full-time at a digital marketing agency, but a children's book illustrator on the side! I went to school for drawing+painting in California. Selena, watching your videos has helped me learn to prioritize my work/personal life to become a more balanced, intentional invidual. Thank you for all that you do! 💞

Congrats on the new job! I’m a clinical research coordinator doing research on a rare type of lymphoma for a major hospital in Atlanta. My credentials are BS in Microbiology and an MS in Regulatory Affairs and Health policy ✨✨

Currently, I work as an account manager at an aerospace manufacturing company and am a full-time college student (in my 40s lol). Having had my first child at 16 and my second at 19, I had to drop out of college to work and support dem kids. Getting a degree has been a dream of mine for as long as I can remember and in 2021 I finally bit the bullet and signed up for SNHU. I completed my AS requirements in Feb and am graduating 4/30, plus I'm already working toward my bachelor's, scheduled to get that in June '24. I hope (nah, fuck that,) I PLAN to someday open a nonprofit with the goal of providing affordable housing to working families. In my town there are so many homeless middle class mom's and dad's living in shelters because the rents are astronomical. Having been homeless myself at one point, I feel pulled to help do something about it.

Congrats on the new job Selena! I bet it will be super interesting being in DEI and gaining that knowledge. Currently, I am in funemployment but finishing up my last round of interviews today ( manifesting greatness and the offer). I enjoyed watching this video during my lunch break before I prep to ACE my final interview! 💛

I think you are right about the whole job mindset. The best thing to do for yourself is figuring out what job is best for you. You go Selena! 💕 Also, you look fabulous as usual!

I’m about to start a new job working entirely from home and it will be such a big change for me. I have always worked in an office environment so it will be a big learning curve I’m sure! Woot woot!! 🎉🎉 congrats on the new position. I’m currently a crisis response therapist, but am working on opening a private practice. Schooling included a bs in psychology and a ms in counseling + a national licensing exam. Wish I had gone the social work since they gave better legislation 😪 and part-time army soldier. Literally no experience needed😅

My bachelors is in event management then I've earned a certificate and credential. I love how every day's different and I'm working for a mission-driven org.
