You know a band is truly iconic when in the comment section it is nothing but a sea of different people from all parts of the world coming together in celebration like a massive wave crashing upon our collective heart.
  • I do not care what anyone says, I LOVE all eras of Depeche Mode!! All of them! My favorite band of all time!!

1991 I lived in a small town in Brazil. No decent radio. No music stores. No internet. Terrible local TV. But one night it was raining, I was 12 and home alone. A channel was playing the 101 Rose Bowl show. I never had a clue that such coolness was possible. I was enthralled. The music. The band. The crowd. I managed to grab a K7 with the singles some months later. It was so different and exciting, it was difficult to have access to these materials. Depeche made history, one of the coolest bands ever. Thank you for adding magic to my life. I love all of you.

Depeche Mode is a band for all times. Absolute magic.
  • @chrisridenhour
Depeche Mode are timeless. Not many bands like them still putting out great and relevant music
  • @9sheri9
    Dave's voice is perfection
  • I'm 50 years old now and have loved DM since I was 15. They have certainly stood the test of time. I have too many favourites to name, but this is up there with the best of their creations. Long live DM ❤

Depeche Mode is the soundtrack of my life

Oh my goodness! At 57 years old... I remember working in a mall record store and getting the Speak and Spell demo record. No one liked it. They gave it to me. I have been listening to that record for decades! And Buy every Depeche Mode release since then and Love, live, cry, laugh, fight and thrive. Yello and Depeche Mode are my medicine all my "adult" life! Thank you!!!!!
  • One of the best tracks on one of their best albums. Haunting and uplifting. Had the pleasure of hearing it live in Barcelona 2024.

Until now, I didn't really pay attention to Depeche Mode's Memento Mori. After listening to this Masterpiece, I just can say: please, Dave and Martin, do whatever it takes to live some more centuries; thank you for saving Art and keep doing it, no matter what.

This comments section is a trip of nostalgia and emotion, and I'm no different. I was introduced to synthesizers by my dad through bands like Depeche Mode, Beck and Tool. Depeche Mode was always my favourite, and it reminds me so much of him. Dad, rest in peace knowing one of your favourite bands is STILL going strong all these years, and I wish you could hear it

Is amazing how many people from around the world have same thoughts and feelings about this music/band. Timeless, priceless band.
  • @teajuanaltd
The fact that this sounds modern yet classic is proof that they have always been ahead of their time...
  • @petarzlatic3239
This is maybe the only band that stayed loyal to their sound & style for decades. They haven't change a bit and I'm loving it! Thank you!
  • @DarkandTwisted
80s kid here. Yes, yes, yes. Bring back all the bands and artists from the 80s; music really needs it right now because it's dying and drowning.
  • @Ras_Mc
I was introduced to Depeche Mode in 1991 Lithuania when I was 18 w 101. I was completely enthralled. I’m 50 now living in the US and still here, still loving them
