Along the "challenges in this role" question, I recently asked my interviewers for a project manager type position "What are the major bottlenecks in this role?" The two interviewers went back and forth for 5-7 minutes during their response. If you can make the interviewer(s) talk most of the time, it means you have less chance to say the wrong thing

My previous employer fired me yesterday, I got a new job the next day. Thank you Mill. Your Tips Gave Me A Confidence BOOST!! I RECENTLY GOT 2 MORE OFFERS. I NOW NEED TO CHOOSE WHO PAYS MORE OR WHAT I WANT! HAPPY!
  • @Alsace1127
I just wanted to share, I’ve been interviewing with the same company for MONTHS. Four interviews, and the last two I did were after I discovered your page. You helped me build confidence and ask the right questions. I am officially part of the Lexis Nexis team!!!
  • @TheAristoKrat17
Hi Madeline, I just wanted to say that after three months of interviewing for an internal position, I was finally offered the role! It’s twice my current salary and they’re paying for my relocation. Couldn’t have done it without all your tips! Please never stop; I’ve referred many colleagues and friends to your content. Thank you 🙏
  • @deniselee7290
I made notes, I prepared questions and my interviewer was such a sweet gal but a chatterbox, all my prepared questions were answered in my 45 minute interview. Really the three people interviewing me seriously wanted my personality to fit the room. My experience got me in the door, but who I am, got me the job. I’m so excited to start this new path. 🥰
  • @angxlicagrace
I not only got the job, I was told my interview stood out from all other candidates. They were SO impressed they offered me a higher position than I interviewed for 🎉 thank you
  • @marniesweets
Watched this the night before, and was offered the Administrative position I was interviewing for ON THE SECOND INTERVIEW! This job is going to change my life. It's almost 3x more than I've ever made. Thank you so much.
  • I went through all of Madeline's videos and literally wrote my toolbox of stories throughout my career and got a job where I only had 3 out of the 10 things they listed for requirements. I was able to take my stories and apply them as transferable skills which ultimately landed my role. BTW, her previous video about questions is pure gold!
  • @coleroxtheboat
Hi Madeline. I got let go from my job on 2.22. I've been prepping for a few months in hopes to land this specific position at a new company. I hadn't interviewed in about 5 years so naturally I'm out of the game. Your videos helped me so much! Helped my confidence, my communication, and overall preparedness. I downloaded and completed a ton of your worksheets and watched your videos religiously. I just wanted to tell you that today I landed the job and got the offer!!! Thank you so much. I'm literally in tears as I'm writing this!
  • Just came back to say thank you. I just landed my first job today at my DREAM COMPANY 3 weeks before graduating. Your videos helped me a lot especially this one! I followed this video and asked 4 questions for the interviewer. And he told me afterwards that each of the questions impressed him A LOT, which I think is one of the reasons they gave me the offer. Will definitely share your channel to my friends. Thanks again!!!
  • After using these questions, I just got my first well paying job after graduating from college 2 years ago! Thank you so much. They said good question when I asked what defines a high performer in this role?
  • @chilena231
I GOT THE JOB!!! I never knew you could ask your interviewer questions. I went in there super confident and it paid off. Your videos are amazing and got me the job! 😍😍😍
  • @BaptistChick02
I can’t believe I’m actually writing this but I got the job! I watched this video last night and had an interview today. I used some of the questions she suggested and my interview went so well in fact they called me back afterwards and offered me the job! I also used your “tell me about yourself” link. Thank you!!!!
  • @justrelax.01
I was jobless for 6 months. I've subscribed and watched several channels to help me pass the interviews. And when I finally found Selfmade Millennial/Madeline, OMG i just realized how wrong I was in following those other channels. Your videos taught me a lot and when i tried your strategies, I was so surprised with the result... the feedbacks I received were mostly over qualified therefore I was referred to a higher position. In short, I got 4 job offers, and I just picked the best one for me. BIG TIME THANKS TO YOU!!! 😘
  • @Amanda-dn4ld
I was getting ready for interviewing for a third position with a company (the first two I made it to finalist but didn't "lock it down") and I knew I had to do something different. I watched your videos and this last interview felt completely different! They offered me the job and were super excited to do so! I truly believe videos like this one and your tips on how to answer "tell me about yourself" and other questions like that made the difference! Thank you!
  • Madeline Mann you are a Godsend. I never thought I would get my dream job in HR, I was ridiculously nervous and scramming to find videos to help me with my panel interviews and then I found you! I now have my dream job with my dream company and I cannot thank you enough!! <333
  • @tyralewis6263
I interviewed using all of your tips from your videos and Just accepted an offer as an implementation Engineer 20k more than my last job. I also negotiated a 8k increase from the original offer! Thank you so much!!!! Your videos REALLY did help!
  • @karenjfrazier07
In my interview, the interviewer actually asked multiple times throughout the interview if I had questions. So I used some from my list. By the end he had answered all my questions throughout the interview and so I didn’t have any questions for the end. They called me back so I think it was good :)

Questions I always ask: 1) what will my 1st day, 1st week, or 1st 30 days look like? 2) what's the most challenging part of this career? 3) From your perspective, how would you define the perfect employee for this role? 4) Why was this position open? (In other words, what happened to the person that filled this role b4?) 4) In the job description, it says "....". Could you clarify that for me? 5) What type of environment would you describe (company....(if it's not on the website), specifically, the department I would be working in if hired? 6) Is there training for this position, if so, how long? -- (that might be answered already as it's connected to the 1st question.) 7) Would I be working independently for the most part or are most projects to be worked on by a team? Etc, etc, etc, etc, etc
