For grinding the sea events : I recommend you use the Sloop with Marine. The reason is that the boat slides off the rocks and boats instead of getting stuck into them. And also having smaller hitboxes means you'll get hit with the cannons LESS than usual. ALL boats have the same health, so I don't see why not. Except the Gamepass ones, they have less health.
