Sadly, these traveling shows are now an era long gone. Thankfully, his music will be with us forever. Back in 1993, I created the artwork for his (I think) 87th album... Anniversary Album No 2... it was quite an honor.

I went to Australia in 1987 and got to enjoy his music a lot. A few years later I moved to Costa Rica where I still listen to Slim Dustry, instead of latin sound.

I came across Slim's music on one of my many trips to Australia, I love listening to him and I visited his museum in Kempsey, it's well worth going to if you're ever up that way

I'm a French musician (lead guitar) since 1959. Since 1976, I collect Slim Dusty's LPs (for me, it's the Australian Lonnie Donegan. I thank you for this nice video. Best wishes from France. JO
