You know, I've gone to that manga shop multiple times and had no fucking clue that Takehiko Inoue drew that himself, just passed by it going "Ah I see a man of taste did this!" not knowing the creator of my favorite manga painted it. Fucking hell man.

I SAW THIS AT KINOKUNIYA NEW YORK, I HAD NO IDEA HE DREW THIS HIMSELF, THATS INCREDIBLE

He said he suddenly decided to draw crows imagine what Musashi staring at. He said it was scary to climb up a ladder. He also said he was not into drinking and chatting so he just kept drawing glasses and pattern to Kojiro‘ s kimono.

    he is truly incredible

He's a good looking guy, especially with skin head and the fact that he's 40 here. But the fact that he draws like a god makes him 1,000 times more attractive.

This guys is a genius. I miss Vagabond. Vagabond and Slam Dunk are my favourite mangas of all time and Inoue Takehiko is my favourite mangaka

In terms of art alone he has the highest quality of all

New York has seen the wonders and glories and wonders of seinen manga.
  • How mangaka are able to draw with no sketch is amazing to me. The first minute I was watching, I was lost as to what he was blocking in with the solid black ink before the camera pulled back and showed he was constructing a face. I could never do something that, this dude is amazing.
  • I remember being there by stroke of luck when this work was done. 17 years old and watching one of my heroes create right before my eyes.

I would love for him to come to Comic-Con for a signing of Slam Dunk/Vagabond/Real/Buzzer Beater, he's one of my favorite's and truly unique in an already unique medium.

I literally just went to this store today it's on 42nd street in New York it's called Kinokuniya it's so good if you like manga or any Japanese literature you should visit
  • Imagine going to casually pick up some manga at your kinokuniya, and you just see Inou sensei putting in work on this masterpiece... would be insane.

I would commission him to paint Sakuragi pulling and tapping his coach's chin.
