Glacier Bay is a fantastic national park in southern Alaska that is combined with Wrangell-St. Elias and Kulane National Park in Canada to make a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The park is difficult to visit and most people only see it via cruise ship. However, we wanted to actually spend some time there so we flew in from Juneau to Glacier Bay National Park and stayed at the lodge. We spent two days hiking around the park and taking a stunning full day boat cruise. From playful sea otters to majestic bald eagles, the park's diverse ecosystem left us in awe of nature's remarkable power and beauty. It was a fantastic trip and let us know what you think in the comments.

Great video! We have to agree, our rangers are the best! 😄Glad you were able to make it to Glacier Bay on land and experience the park at your leisure.
  • Experiencing those moments of peace and solitude in a national park is always a highlight for me. Just getting to take in the sights, smells, and sounds around you.

I love the father and son factor.....forever memories ❤❤❤

Josh and Pops, you just have the most awesome videos. Your manner of presentation, information, images, places * you take us, are all so terrific. Plus, I love the downtime, and seeing the foods you decide on, some representing the area, you're visiting. Noone does it better, IMO. 👏🏻🎉👏🏻

Hey Pops can paint! That watercolour was actually very nice
  • @wildzenventures
What a great experience! These views were amazing. The whale breaching and the bear were definitely highlights. Pops watercolor was great 👍
  • @InterstateKyle
Never clicked on a video so fast. This is bucket list! I love seeing the whales and other wildlife on top of the amazing views. Seeing a calving is something that's better experienced in person I would imagine!

Thank You Love the channel with you and Pops. Very informative!
  • @XiongBearTravel
Glacier Bay looks awesome! You should definitely do a ranking video of your favorites after all the videos of the Alaska Parks come out 😊

Amazing place and wonderful views everywhere. Thanks for taking us along. Pops might need a new suitcase.
  • I really appreciate the relationship/bond that you have with your dad. I so terribly wish I had that type of relationship with either of my parents, however, my life did not unfold in that direction. May you continue to have a prosperous and peaceful life.
  • I think Pops make your videos much more interesting I wish to see him in all your videos bless you and Pops and your family
  • Amazing. Sea otters are adorable. And yes, I would love to kayak there! Wow, that collapse man, what a sight
  • @violetbf3773
Just when I thought the awesome video had ended, you gave us the extra hike. That was a cool surprise. I’m glad you got to mark off one thing off your bucket list. And also, Pops technique to carry his bag, is the best technique 😅🙌🏽

Thanks for always pointing out wheelchair accessibility in your journeys. I'm in a wheelchair and appreciate hearing first-hand if a trail would work or not. I'm impressed with how at least a portion of trails is accessible in nearly all parks in the US (better than in Canada where I am)!
  • @IMJAFO2
My parents took a trip to Glacier Bay a few years ago. They were amazed by the beauty of national park as well as watching the Glacier Calving.. In fact, they decided to go there again with the rest of the family.
  • @cindym5302
This brings back wonderful memories. My daughter and I were fortunate enough to be on one of the few small cruises allowed to go in 2021. It was absolutely amazing even with all the Covid restrictions. And we got to see a Glacier Bay porcupine, too! Thanks for sharing. Love all your videos.
  • Thank you for your videos. Your time with Pops is so precious! I appreciate the explanation and information, as I most likely will not visit these places. I could not help but feel sad with the glacier broke, as it is a sign of climate change upon us…
  • @johanna7254
What a beautiful park! Those glacier shots were unreal!
