I've dealt with anxiety/depression my whole life. In 2020 my ex of 19 yrs left me, a few weeks later my dad died suddenly right as lock down happened and I was an essential worker so I wasn't allowed to say goodbye. I found myself at one point with a noose around my neck bawling. When you cut yourself down that is so relatable. I moved on, I live by the motto don't let the noise in your head paint the truth around you. I live with daily pain from multiple health issues, beat cancer 7 yrs ago, I refuse to give up on this life. I got asked why I listen to sad music saying it will only make me sad and I said no, I find it beautiful. Your music is soul touchingly beautiful.

Anxiety and Depression make you fear and believe that nobody else understands or feels how you do. But when we hear words/melodies/breakdowns/chords/bars/rhyme schemes that resonate with our feelings it is comforting and allows us to not feel alone. For me, I feel that alot when i listen to music, and it manifests itself by me telling people "Hey check out this song, its dope!" or thinking to myself "THE ENTIRE WORLD NEEDS THIS" but one of the only times i truly feel like i get to appreciate someone elses "emotional understanding" of the songs is live when we sing our hearts out while our favorite artist performs or Mosh until we're mangled, i usually avoid comment sections and i know this is a book i just wrote but im reading through all the comments and im balling my eyes out right now! @Pardyalone listened to this song and many of your since the day your drop them BUT today this hit a bit diffy XD...All seriousness THANK YOU SO MUCH for sharing your Skill, Strength, Creativeness, For Repping MN, and MOST OF ALL for your Vulnerability and for sharing your Pain. The chorus and the lyrics in general speak so clearly to me…my favorite part of the video is easily the parts where you two are sitting looking at each other and she’s all twisted looking

the way the video starts out as a fail suicide attempt and throughout the video you’re seen doing different things like fishing and riding bikes really authenticates the cycle of depression, feeling like death (trying to hang yourself), trying to live (trying new things to get your mind off of it), then feeling like death again. anyway that’s what this video means to me and it really helps me feel less alone. 🖤

This song hit me too hard after recently breaking free from an “Narcissist” that plagued my life for nearly 11 years.. I pray that if there’s anyone having suicidal thoughts to just hold on and look to God, because he’s gonna pull you through the hurt and pain that either he or she brought upon you. They’ll reap what they sowed in due time, so no matter how much you wanna take matters into your own hands; don’t do it… “Vengeance is mine saith the Lord.” I pray that you all be strong and let God work on your behalf.
