The whole day of filming was constantly shrouded with fear of when the next patch of rain will hit. Amsterdam's weather system sure is something special. From sun showers, to downpours that last hours, it's always a gamble of what you'll get. When filming some of the departures like China Southern's A380, I was dripping wet from the rain but it was definitely worthwhile!
I filmed this back in October of 2021 when I visited Amsterdam for a holiday.

The KLM Orange Pride 777-300ER is my favorite. It very accurately depicts the temperature gradient of a jumbo jet's fuselage during cruise. Most parts of the plane very cold due to the frigid temperatures at those high altitudes, but the leading edges of the plane especially the nose get very hot due to air friction when flying at sonic speeds! A truly ingenious design IMO
