A cool little history lesson. They used to put the stairs up to the second floor for two reasons. One was that the ground floor was usually for servants, and they kept the food deliveries handy, and the second was that the stairs kept the horse poop on the roads from being easily tracked up into the nicer part of the house.

So so excited for orange. They always say they don't like it and then absolutely smash it with a retro 70s look. Gonna be so dreamy.

I think purple will DEFINITELY be the hardest since this game has like zero purple swatches that don’t look horrendous. But I’m really excited for yellow, you can go with like a champagne color and a luxury vibe

I'm a little disappointed they didn't do anything with the basement. I think a backyard entrance into that space could've been cool. Maybe they'll do all the basements at the end with a surprise color?

Fun fact! (Although I may be wrong so, grain of salt) the reason indigo is listed in the colours of the rainbow is because they originally listed six, but wanted the rainbow to have seven colours since seven is a godly number and supposedly god made rainbows, so they were like “uhhhh indigo! There, now there’s seven and it represents god” when in actual colour wheels used for art there is no importance on indigo because it’s not actually a major colour lol.

YAY RAINBOW SERIES oh i’m soooo excited for yellow 😭😭 i think purple will probably end up being the most difficult, orange seems like it’ll be a struggle but i think there’s enough options to make it work. purple is… severely limited. but i believe in your building abilities!!!

For orange a retro 70s look would be the obvious choice, but I think a tropical maximalist theme with the tiger wallpaper and fruits/sunset/cocktail vibe could be really cool! 🧡🐅🥭🍊🍹🧃🦐🌅🐡

The blue apartment needs to belong to the owner of Whaleberts Theme park. So not only is it a pretty nautical theme but it’s hiding whales everywhere 😂 Purple is my favorite color, I really would love to see it be a more pastel vibe - maybe theme this one slightly to crystal/magic/fantasy theme

You guys should build a scout camp where every tent/cabin is one of the kids you’ve built a bedroom for in your builds! ❤❤❤ eg : scout child in your autumn house, that one baby in your upgrading house video that lived outside or the dinosaur children in growing together and so on. I think this would be a great way to reference all you previous builds and a gift to the long time fans!❤❤❤

Looking forward to the orange cause not only is it my favourite colour but I'm very biased towards that bright orange 70s retro theme. You've used it before and I loved it! Purple is gonna be tough though I think, a fun challenge!

I'm the most excited to see you guys do the purple townhouse! Even though there's not a ton of actually purple items and its just magenta or kind of a wine color, but there are some items with really cute purple swatches, for example I think in Get Famous there's that really expensive furniture set (the same one with the painfully bright fuchsia and zebra print, yea thats the one), it has some really pretty pastel purple swatches that could lean pastel goth if paired with black and white. Also did anyone notice how the 6 across houses are the primary colors and the 5 across houses are the secondary colors? (Sorry, little bit of a color nerd, that's one of the side effects of being an artist :P)

We need a town but each house is a different pastel color & aesthetic/style based on said color!
