It's remarkable to see how well Rudy functions without sight. Imagine losing a game of hide-and-go-seek to a BLIND cat! He's a joy to watch.

I adopted a blind cat who also was found with an eye infection. His eyes were taken at 2 months old. He has taught me not to take life so serious and even though you have a disability stay positive. He's my hero!

I went to adopt a male cat , when I arrived there was the male cat and his half blind sister, I grabbed the male and pu😅t him in a cage and immediately the female was looking for him, I just couldn’t leave her behind, so end up adopting both, the best decision I ever made, they seem very happy 🙏🏻🇵🇹❤️

This brought me to tears about the tragedy he endured and the grace and luck of finding somebody and a forever home to take care of him

It’s amazing. He doesn’t know what humans look like, but he knows he is loved by them.

I live with my daughter who has 4 cats. Two have no physical disabilities, one was born with dwarfism, essentially born blind, the fourth was rescued from the streets by a local law enforcement officer. He had a sever upper respiratory infection and both eyes infected. One eye had be be surgically removed, the other is badly scared but allows him to see a little bit. When I saw him at the shelter, I told the officer that my daughter was going to want him. The next day she adopted him. We thought we were helping him, we didn’t know we needed him. He has blessed us so very much!!

Oh wow ... he is simply AMAZING. I am a disabled person and I sometimes think I should take a leaf out of how animals cope with disabilities. Animals are not as invested in their disabilities as people are. They are like: "Oh ... okay ... that bit of me doesn't work ... moving on!" There are no pity parties (believe me, I have had my fair share of those!!). Watching Rudy bomb around his new home is enchanting. His courage is outstanding. Thank you so much for giving him a forever home.

What a good boy Rudy is. So cool seeing his precision and timing. Rest In Peace Moby.

We adopted a blind cat once and he knew where everything was, even in a two story home. They are so intuitive 😺.

It's incredible how he navigates his way around without any problem, and with his increased senses he's like a cat version of Dare Devil. He's absolutely phenomenal

So wonderful to know there are loving people in this world who care for disabled animals, thank you!

Had a black blind cat, "Stevie wonder" . He was so much like your cat. He loved to hunt! Would catch lizards out in the yard. His other senses were amazing. His love of life and everyone in it was unmatched. He was definitely the best pet ever, not even a close second. I cried watching your video.... I loved him so much. I'm a tattooed, muscle head with a fear of nothing and "Stevie wonder" completely turned me into mush. Love all critters

As the owner of a blind orange boy just like Rudy, I can totally relate to how special it is to have a blind cat in the family and how amazing it is that he’s figured out his world all on his own. My Coltrane still has his eyes but we learned that his optic nerves never formed, so he’s been blind from birth. He’s also become deaf in his old age. But he’s very good at smelling where his food is!

The owner is simply an angel.. God bless her and all her pets!

That little butt wiggle before dashing off always gets me 😂 cats are such funny creatures
-
You can’t tell he’s blind as he’s getting ready to pounce on his brother 😂 I love it 😻
-
Seems he doesn't know he's blind! It's not holding him back from a normal life. Absolutely adorable!💋❤

Rudy could not have found a better human mom and dad. I write with tears as I pray that God bless you both for your kind hearts.

My cat recently lost most of her remaining eyesight 2 days ago. I didn't realize she was going blind until I took her to the vet and later to the ER, where they assessed her and told me she very likely has a brain tumor. I'm glad to see there's some hope she can still enjoy hanging around our home and playing until she passes. Thank you for sharing your story and taking in cats like Rudy.

I love the courage and “normalcy” of this amazing cat and love his parents.
