The crazy part about his story is that he was dealing with substance abuse, reached his rock bottom and prayed to god that if he helped him through this situation that he would devote his life to god and helping others. Then he made this as his very first public song just recorded in his backyard and it instantly changed his life.. less than 30 days after reaching rock bottom and praying to god.. its a remarkable story.. hes been approached by labels trying to buy his soul but he refuses. He will remain independent and make music that touches the hearts of everyone.

That's not country music. That's straight-up Appalachian folk music. 😊

First time I heard this song I cried. We're small business owners who worked from morning till night every day...only to have everything we sacrificed for taken in the name of taxes and fairness. Our health insurance went from $300 a month to $1650 with less coverage. And our taxes and fee's were increased constantly. They don't want us to survive anymore. Corporations get all the benefits and protection from the people we voted into office.

Young men putting themselves, 6 feet in the ground, since the rest of the world keep tearing them down is a hard ass line. Respect

Man released this a few days ago, he’s already playing concerts where EVERYONE IS SINGING THE WORDS. I can’t imagine how good that must feel .

As a black woman, I relate to a large majority of what that man is singing about and I feel it to my core. Looks like I have a new favorite artists!
