As an IT specialist, the "overwhelm the servers" bit makes me laugh so hard. Voting is not exactly a large amount of data by modern standard.

"You're entitled to your own opinion, but not to your own facts" is the moral of the story.

I feel bad for the people who had to watch Fox News to gather evidence.

I'm still sad that Fox News wasn't forced to air a retraction and apologize.

I actually worked an election last year in my county and i can confidently opine that conservatives do not trust their own government. We only had repesentatives from the RNC come to "oversee" how we were working. I had one lady try to tell me how the ballot she got in the mail was different than the one we had at the polls. I said "Yes, it is. This is a provisional ballot which includes all nominees. You get a ballot that corresponds with your chosen political party sent to you, but the ones we have here are for people who are either registering to vote for the first time, they moved, or changed their name...." I could tell she just didn't believe me but i had to remain unbiased. It was so hard, but i loved it. Easiest 160$ i made in my life.

Imagine if Fox News didn't even mention the name Dominion. Imagine they just said "voting machines". They would have gotten away with it

Its remarkable, that Fox News routinely goes, 'we're an entertainment company, so we are not bound to tell the truth', and then turn around and say, 'we are a news company, so because we thought we were telling the truth, we shouldn't be hounded'

I really wish this had gone to trial. IMO America needed this. The dirty laundry needed to get cleansed, aired out. It's also pathetic that for Fox News, the facts hurt them because their audience can't handle it.

As crazy as this sounds, it almost feels like the nearly $800 million wasn't enough. The impact the widespread misinformation had on our society has been catastrophic and we will see this for years to come.

They took the loss because anything they would have been forced to say under oath would have made their situation 100 times worse.

I have to say, a groupchat with Tucker Carlson, Laura Ingraham and Sean Hannity sounds like its own special layer of Hell. I can't imagine having to read through it without losing my mind... condolences to Dominion's lawyers.

i loved the part "viewers are mad but we will wave flags to calm them down" to just show how the viewers are just toddler to them. they cannot realistically be surprised the people they groomed with lies to be upset with truth.
