The title def made me think you bought the original flip house and were gonna do it again lol

My thoughts: Would have liked to see the entry wall opened up, could have done a nice feature banister on the stairs so its not so claustrophobic. Love the wall paper choice in the powder, as the gold leaves bring out some of the tones in the Victoria Falls. The furlough in the kitchen is hardly noticeable with the cabinet design, so I doubt its a talking point in the future. The master bath may not have any real way to lay out with out a little controversy, at least not without spending a bunch of money that would not be returned on investment. It does however take away the dead space the original vanity caused and creates a place that is usable not just with the larger shower but could fit a tall hamper or trash bin in the corner.

The completely awkward conversations with the contracts I bloody love it hahah so true to life
  • @JeffKogut
Close those toilet lids for the glam shots!
  • @DutchessSarahJ
This is great. That wallpaper is a conversation piece! ❤ My only thing is the backyard is still wildly atrocious. I would consider hiring a landscaper if you come across something like that again. The choice to keep the stumps and rocks but add grass…. You can’t mow that. 😬
  • @debbydhill
I would have spent the extra and opened up the stairs to the front door. Great job

Loved this longer format with the behind the scenes, stone picking, contractors, etc!😊

Is Lincoln ok? He seems to be slurring throughout the walk through. Also noticed his weight loss in the past few videos. Sending love, hope he's ok.

Beautiful flip! I would've done some things a little differently if it were me, but still a beautiful upgrade! For instance I would've removed the wall in the entrance so the stairs could be visible. Then I'd build a new staircase with an ornate railing to give the entrance some visual interest. That way when guests walk into the house they'll see a beautiful staircase instead of a blank wall. I mean the way you two did it is fine, but there needs to be something hanging there like artwork. I wouldn't put a coat rack on that wall because you don't want people walking in and having a bunch of coats in their face. At least if there's a painting or photo, there's something pleasant greeting them.
  • I am loving the production value of this video. Y'all are as good as, if not better than, many HGTV shows.

yikes that primary bathroom is not good. Also, cheap white cabinets in the kitchen…no lower drawers which is what people are looking for. So much wasted space in this house that you could have made into an office or laundry.
  • @manzell
I've been poking back in on this channel from time-to-time over the years and you both look younger than when you started!

I would have preferred losing one of eating areas to have a bigger kitchen. The mirror in the master is a little narrow in width. I also agree that I would have preferred opening the stairs to the front door would have been nice. I guess it was more about the flip than fixing the design of the house.

Love the painted brick and no smelly carpets up stairs. Kitchen layout is very efficient and nice calm colours. It looks easy care and inviting now.
  • @jeanettekakareka
Maybe I am crazy but I sort of loved that old oven 😆 I hope they sold it off to somebody who can tweak it and fix it up because sometimes people like having that in their house for a bit of character... like me 😂
  • @ChelseaRobson
Can we, collectively, move away from grey undertones?
  • @ebrock10
Not gonna lie Lincoln. Whatever you’re doing you’re looking good keep it up! Love watching you 2 do your thing lots of inspiration for when I’m ready to renovate.
  • @Stressless2023
Seems like a surprisingly half hearted rehab from them - I guess they know their market and figured they didn't have to do more to reach their list price, but over $1M for that mostly unimpressive looking house with a bad layout is crazy to me.
  • Beautiful! I would prefer opaque glass for at least the bottom half of the shower wall to visually separate it from the toilet.
