Rena Strober was asked to perform at the Inaugural Gala for the Christina Grimme Foundation on September 25, 2017. The late Christina Grimmie was a huge fan of Nintendo's Fire Emblem series and of the character that Rena voices, Azura. Rena was so honored to be part of an evening that brought love, support and money to families effected by gun violence and to breast cancer awareness. Rena, I know this video is old and you're probably not reading this, but on the off chance that you are... thank you. I've loved Fire Emblem music long before I'd actually played one of the games, and your song in particular helped me fight through some of the most miserable parts of my life. And I'm willing to bet I'm not the only one.

I'm Japanese.I played Fire Emblem Fate in JPN version. (The title of the JPN version is ファイアーエムブレム if.) I can hardly understand English lyrics… But Your voice is so beautiful ! 　とても素晴らしい！

What an amazing performance, and for such an amazing cause. Truly, you have given so much life to Azura. She remains my absolute favorite character from the FE series. Not a day goes by that I’m not being quieted by someone because I’m singing “lost in thoughts” out loud 😁.
