This is how I set up a point to point from my house (Site A) to my building space I rented (Site B). We have an internet connection at Site A but we do not have on Site B. I don't want to apply for another connection from ISP because it would cost me monthly subscription fees so I decided to send my Internet from our home Site A going to Site B using Ubiquiti Litebeam M5. This setup is called POINT TO POINT. This is a step by step setup on how I did it. This can useful in so many ways the range of these devices varies from each model, starting from 10 kilometers up to 30 kilometers or even more. Have fun and enjoy it.

I'm a newbie about setting up internet connectivity wirelessly, and although most of the folks here are now using telco fibr connection, but I'm pretty sure that this is the best configuration that I will be using if I'm going to have the necessary hardware. Thank you, Sir.

  • i know this is two years ago but trust me it really new to somebody like me. when i completed college, my first job is a wireless engineer even though i have not much knowledge in this field i had to accept because for me a new challenge is always welcome but sometimes it is very hard to navigate your way through expecially with no one to guide you.
