It's true that the descendants of those who caused this whole mess are getting upset now that Black families are highlighting the horrible treatment they endured. America needs to acknowledge the evil that was done to Black people. It is unreasonable to expect us, as Black people, to forget about it. Did the Jewish community say, "Oh Germany, we forgive you?" Absolutely not. They demanded reparations and received them, so why can't we?
