  • My son Brendan did 2weeks work experience at Buckingham Palace kichens while he was doing his fine dining course at catering college. He absolutely loved it living above the stables inside the grounds as a 17 year old . He was given a blue apron with BP K 2011 as a momento. Still in use today. 😊

Hi Shauna & Thank You!! This one is right up there with “A Housekeeper’s Diary.”!!!! I am enjoying it😁
  • I hate it when I see a new "Shauna" video, get excited, and then see the note, "upcoming." Phooey! Love you and love to see your smiling face!
  • I have only just recently found Shauna's podcast. She is a delightful young lady!

There’s a wonderful account of the banquet after Queen Victoria’s coronation. She had a hearty appetite and ate very fast, which left the others extremely hungry because they had to stop eating when she did. It seems her fondness for food caught up with her in later age judging from the size of her undies.

This book is a hoot! Thanks Shauna you really bring out the fun. The bosom story! 🥝🥝😂

You’d think someone who reached the level of brigadier would have learned not to wear medals with a skimpy dress or vice versa. Silly woman.

You made me laugh about the old food being made into other recipes, I went to a Catholic boarding school where we were often served what we named, Y.M.C.A. (Yesterday’s muck cooked again) it wasn’t just bubble and squeak.
  • What an embarrassing story about Wallis Simpson. I was surprised to hear that she had such bad table manners, but leave it to the staff to teach her a lesson or two - LOL!
  • Love your commentary on the books. The stories are hilarious.
  • Good morning from my cosy chair and a mug of steaming hot coffee What a lovely way to start my day. “They” forecast a sunny day today NO HUMIDITY. ❤💕😊🇨🇦. Have a lovely weekend all.

Hilarious brigadier story...kudos to the woman who handled it with such aplomb😂😂😂 The lavatory graffiti story is also fun. This book is the most delightful one yet, Shauna, great choice. Cheers and sip from Canada 🇨🇦
  • This book is absolutely marvelous. Enjoying it so much. Just love your soothing voice, then the excitement in your voice at the juicy parts, and.of course, the laughter while reading. Shauna, you do it soooo well. Thank you!!
  • Oh the visual! Big bosom, gives new meaning to the term "fallout". LOVE THIS ONE!!! Laughing my heart out!
  • I’m loving this book Shauna. Thank you. ONG! If I was the bosom lady I think I would have run out of the Palace never to be seen again 😂😂
