You can tell that Cody is holding tears back. This must mean so much to him. RIP Dusty.

Cody may have finished the story, but right here he completed the story. Dusty would be so proud.
  • This is one of the reasons I really like Cody Rhodes as a main eventer. Only a person of respect and passion could bring such a prestigious look to a title and put as much work as he has.
  • It took almost 50 years to have the WWE Championship to be in the possession of a Rhodes. Cody may have finished the story, but he completed the story of becoming champion. Dusty would've been proud. RIP DUSTY RHODES, You will always be the American Dream.
  • I know more about Dusty because of Cody. Such an inspiration to remember your dad at the peak of your career. Daddy must be proud of you.

Awesome. Such respect for that championship. The fans. His father. And all those who held that title. Amazing showmanship from Cody.

The fact this wasnt on tv is wild!!! This def shouldve been on TV! Much deserved Cody! Your father would be proud
  • That’s what makes the story so great, it really was Cody’s dream. When wrestling and reality blur together in the right way, you get once in a generation moments.

Cody Rhodes winning at WrestleMania sure was not a mistake. He earned it, not just for himself but for his father too. Rest In Power Dusty❤
