First Verse of Devil’s Parliament: Poem of Iqbal

For me, what's phenomenal is Iqbal's ability to simultaneously beautify and densify the verse with elements one would scarcely assume to be there. For me, that's what makes Iqbal's poetry so greatly diverse. Iqbal never forgets to aestheticize his message.

You opened a new world in poetry of Iqbal for us, what a legend he was but it is very surprising that people of every field use his verses to support their narrative in sub-continent. Thank You Sir ❣

Hi man. I live in Dubai and recently visited Egypt. The highlight of my visit was to meet an old person. He asked me where are you from and when I said I am from Pakistan he respected me more, but not because of me but because of Allama Muhammad Iqbal. He suddenly said o Dr Iqbal was from there, we Arabs love and respect him so much because he was the poet, writer and Philosopher if Islam. This was the proud moment for me that Iqbal belongs to us and also shameful moment for me that we young generation have forgotten him. I also have recorded video (in *Egyptian_Arabic*) of that person to see all my life and get some joy and feel the importance of Iqbal. I always tell my Arab friends about Iqbal and about his inspiring Islamic poetry and they always praise. Specially in 1970's his Famous Poetry Shikwa -Jawab e Shikwa was sung in Arabic translation by the most famous singer name (Umme Kusoom) aka Noor Jahan of Egypt. (The Youtube videos is also available). It was done to strengthen the relation between Pakistan and Egypt.
