I am proud of my FIRECUDA 530 4TB SSD and my 970 evo plus still 😁

Gaming is not at all 100% sequential reads/ writes. Most are random reads and writes so you will not discern big differences between drives. Any cheap drive will do - even a pcie3 drive on a pcie3 slot would just be ok and would have almost the same random reads/writes with their pcie4 counterparts. A tad faster but insignificant and not discernible. pcie4 and gen4 drives are only important if you move frequently large files daily (video editing and content creation) and you do not do that in gaming. Choose nvme with dram as this increases the life of the drive.

  • Does Samsung 990 pro w/o heatsink gets too hot while playing on a gaming laptop? I will use it just for games, I won't transfer heavy files or anything, but I'm afraid of it getting too hot

KC3000 in our test is the best. Fastest multithread writing. Fastest reader. Neither Samsung nor WD black are fast as video advertized!!!

Can someone help me? I'm Brazilian and I didn't understand the video well. Which was the best, in order, from first to fifth place? What are the main characteristics of each one? What are the disadvantages of each?
  • @Phoenix42.0
Do you actually list the prices at all? That's very important going to go find another review that lists the prices at the start of every product.
