  • We've been using Udio to do a lot of cinematic audio experiments for film scene compositions, as well as some fun cover songs (some of which are on our channel) for us, the biggest thing getting in the way of some seriously great pieces of music was the control factor. Udio only lets you output at 33s at a time, with limited adjustment features that would affect the whole segment of music. Often we found that it was only a tiny section of that 33s segment that we wanted to adjust but we had to throw away the whole piece and completely regenerate. Here's our latest experiment, a cover of Avril Lavigne's 'I'm With You', which for the most part stands up......but there's definitely some disjointed bits in there that could have used some tighter finessing https://youtu.be/VeGVbdZ_vFc?si=h7WmlqKFpd0kVjJj

I'm impressed by how AI evolution keeps getting better, improving tools. While udio has its flaws, being in beta, I believe it will evolve even further over time. I even tried creating my own music, and I can say it has been an interesting experience.

Hey Curtis, cool tutorial. Just wanted to know if you can add samples, voice samples or any other custom sounds in Udio. Thanks.
  • @freedom
    These songs are actually good!
  • @mdg936
    What is the video though?
  • @leroiandmarie
I keep getting a page with "Something went wrong!" on it when I go to their website. I guess their site is ALSO in beta 😅
  • What bothers me is there is so much filler from the AI. How is there when you max your content to its limit? And why does it add filler a hook instead of starting immediately. Even using the section selector it still ignores user demands. sigh
  • @thewebstylist
Hoping they lift the 30 second initial creation limit soon!
  • @mixxndj
Does it give you stems for separating instruments and vocals ?
  • @shubhammate245
check out Giving Guardians for their ai generated songs
  • @RockMusicTracks
Thank you, but there's a notice that they don't allow new creations for the moment. :(
