Played with it this morning and it's gonna be all over my mixes. it's truly phenomenal. It's way beyond ambience and reverb. it captures a vibe that's hard to describe.

Phewww. I was Mixing something today with a retro Drum Sample which had a very 80's Disco kinda vibe and sound. It came to me completely dry. I started messing around with Sound City till I found a sound which I liked. Tried to emulate that with Pro R, Revibe & Valhalla. Pro R was very close but Sound City rounded the Drums in a very nice way. And I did not even mess with the Filters or Compression or anything. It was just a combination of Close and Room Mic 2. What a beautiful looking Plugin with a such an inspiring sound. The title of this Video is exactly how it should be defined.

This might be, already, a top 5 UA plugin. And that is saying A LOT!

We use the crap out of the Oceanway plugin. It works especially well if you have a mic source dedicated for its use. I'll setup a pair of close room mics that i feed into the plugin which then allows the room mics to translate to what theyre doing a lot better than say sending a kick and snare through it. Can't wait to try this out. Thanks for the look into this one!

A simply amazing plugin. Makes your vst drums pop out and become a real live kit, also great for guitars and much more. Also if you want an analog synth to sound ambient and fat, use the piano presets and dial in a setting you're happy with.

That is one beautiful looking plugin! If you let an architect and a acoustic consultant design engineer create an audio plugin you get this, that 3D interface is kind of neat and quite functional.

I got the same sense of "that's incredible" awe as I did when first very recently listening to Vienna MIR Pro 3D. For that one, I had never heard an orchestral plugin produce such a real sounding soundstage and "I'm there!" sensation. For this one, the variable character of that particular room and its varied mic settings are beautifully apparent.
  • @summerfazed
Would be cool to see it used on a whole mix

This is a very cool concept that feels very innovative and fresh to me. Yes, it's taking a lot of familiar concepts, but it's building a product that winds up doing something quite unique and also useful. It goes well beyond what IK's Sunset Sound does but not in a gimmicky, tacked on way. Would not be surprised to see more "virtual studio" plugin concepts coming to market.

This plugin in fact is exactly like the Ocean Way plugin but on steroids. Ocean Way was really a secret weapon of UAD users. Didn't get much hype but loved by many. The re-mic setting on Ocean Way and now this are incredible. It's not just a reverb plugin. I wouldn't even call it a room simulation, plugins like Sunset Studio from IK Multimedia can not do what these do even though they are room simulations. I've never been able to find another plugin that could do what Ocean Way did. Maybe a convolution reverb could maybe get close but then you don't have the ability to move the mics in and out.

I work for years with Waves, Softube and other devs. And now use UAD Spark, I can't leave it, I use on all my productions, really surprise me on how great sounds each plugin's from UAD. Thanks.

The best part is the preservation of a great acoustical facility with the ability to use the acoustical space in your home projects. Studios like that are becoming an endangered species...
  • @monterosamusic
Yeah this plugin is a game changer for home recording. Just got it not long ago and it blows my mind how VSTs just sound even better. Specially if you're looking for that warmer, bigger, tone loaded sound. Great video brotha! Cheers!
  • @chrisyking
I bought this and on a PC it uses a ton of CPU. On my Ryzen 5950X it uses a quarter of the CPU for 1 instance.
  • @1masterfader
Can't wait to run PianoVerse through that! I'm doing some soul music tracks for Sync now so this captures that time period.
  • @deniscadieux1676
Yes a demo video of this plugin would be cool, but I’m already sold and bought it yesterday because they had a promo, 2 plugins for 99$, so I got this native and also the Ravel piano plugin. Both are normally worth over 300$ each.
  • @Drfresh1402
I’m using this right now. Simply stunning.
  • @pocket1684
Thanks for yet another great review... Love your perspectives..
  • @donnas8408
Before you all lose your mind, compare this ASAP to UAD Oceanway Studios it’s the same concepts I want to hear side-by-side I want to hear which is one sounds better let’s go ! Somebody do it please ASAP. Thank you.
  • @andreaserd
