Damn, the power of this performance is like a fine whisky to me: it gets your blood pumping and fills your heart with energy. Makes even a bloody lowlander like me - I'm from the Netherlands, it doesn't get much flatter than that - to become a Highland Clansman too.

Bruce's upper register and sheer ferocity took this song from good to fucking epic.

Couldn't be a more poignant time to be listening to this song than now, with what's going on in the world right now.

This is still one of the most epic guitar solos ever for me, and I'm a drummer.

It's 2024 and it's still the best Iron Maiden live performance in my opinion.

I saw Iron Maiden for the first time in that tour. They were to headline the rockwave festival in Greece in the summer of 2000 but they cancelled (Dream Theater, with Metropolis 2, filled in the gap - perfect!!! I must say - they even closed the show with Trooper! - respect to DM). I had to travel almost 800km to see Iron.... And then, they came later that year somewhere near in the sea of Pireaus (somewhere near in the sea anyway, if I remember correctly)...And I had travelled again almost 800km of course...I was 18, and as I listen to this , and the whole Rock in Rio, the tears still dropping...UP THE IRONS!!!
