“How do you like them apples” was originally a reference to WWI era mortar rounds. Then, it was in cover girl commercials in the late 80s and early 90s. Then, it was in Good Will Hunting in 1997. Then today, Chael finally introduced it to the world and made it famous. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

Props to you Chael for giving Perry some much deserved SHINE! Even as a 50/50 fighter in the UFC, I thought Perry was a "star". His personality is "unique" and he draws eyes whether he wins or loses. The UFC made a mistake in not keeping Perry IMO. Perry is much like Nate Diaz in that people just want to see his personality and balls out fighting style on display. Win or lose. Personality wins over most people and why the WWE doesn't even show a win/loss record for their "wrestlers". Ok, ok, I know there is technically no winner or loser in each fight as it's a script, but why character development and personality is mostly what WWE focuses on. And I don't even watch that stuff, and haven't since I was about 12. Big Congrats to Mike Perry!!!!!!

“Thought you had a friend boy!!” Perry is one of the most fun to watch in our sport. Love that he’s getting the fame now.

The fight with Mike and Eddie last week makes me want to watch bareknuckle. Mike was amazing. Congrats to him finding his niche

I've been watching ufc since my dad showed me royce gracie ufc1 tape back in 08. Mike Perry has turned into one of those fighters who i care about a lot. I remember one night when I was drunk and scrolling through Instagram i somehow ended up watching one of mike perry's stories. Sure enough he's drunk too but he was going on a rant about how he didn't know what he was going to do after leaving the ufc and how he still trusts god that he'll be able to provide for his family. Very nice to see him finding his home in the combat sports world with how crazy things are right now, new promotions and crossovers left and right.

Mike Perry is a born fighter …. We can all agree that this man really loves to fight
  • Chael somehow does not get enough credit. 1 take vids, profound insights, the KING of YouTube
  • If you’re a brute who can stomach it, Bare knuckle boxing is the most entertaining fight to watch. Mike Perry never disappoints
  • @nks432
Perry's a generational talent who found his sport - the one thing - the one ruleset - in which he's a wizard - great vid.
  • I just love that Mike found a sport that he can thrive in. He was always a very good MMA fighter with great grappling. He just loved being in brawls.

I'll tell ya what Perry's doing.... He's HAMMERING NAILS! For Christ's sake, Alvarez himself, in the post-fight, called the man a "BATTLE-AXE"!? And that's exactly what we're seeing out there, everytime he gets into that BKFC ring! He's absolutely fearless and it's made me a fan!

Mike Perry is a huge star now and I’ve been praying for him since the turtle video. I love seeing a guy who isn’t supposed to be a world wide star break the ceiling down and say here I am
  • @audiogabby9808
Mike Perry's greatest gift is his physical and mental strenght in my belief. The man can absorb damage like few can and keeps moving forward.

"I came out and toed the line for the 6th round...cause I just wanted more blood, BAABBBYYY!!" -Platinum Mike Perry
  • @backabeyond
Perry is uniquely qualified for BK boxing. He's built for it, and he is very intelligent in his approach. He comes by it honestly if you understand his upbringing. He tells a story about his dad fighting the whole neighborhood. He comes from people who just like to fight, and are fueled by the pain of it.
  • @markwrenn5965
I've been a Platinum fan since the first I ever saw him. "Isn't he fkn awesome"
  • @gamebred26
So glad to see Mike get his glory. He's a real dude...and you can tell a good dude.
