The "switch" got faulty in my cube, it become unclickable: the "switch" contains two screws and two friction-fit magnets, one magnet somehow got loose and jammed the whole mechanics. This video helped me quickly disassemble and fix my gray-black fidget cube which I own since years! 👍
  • This was very helpful! Thank you! The switch on my multi fidget cube (like the one you have with orange and black) broke and it was very frustrating. Thanks to you I was able to fix it.

Thanks I fixed my cube a week after i pulled the joystick out accidently.
  • Thanks! One of the parts went misplaced and I was wondering how to open it and fix. I was able to after watching this video :)

Thank you so much! My switch thing was misplaced and one side wouldn’t go up but I could fix it with this video, thank you!

This worked great. and prevented me from breaking mine, thank you so much! The rocker switch on mine stopped working and after opening it I saw that one off the magnets had come off its slot, so it was as easy as putting it back in. One important thing is that you have to separate the two halves in the same direction as the screws you take off of the spinner - there's some pins coming out from the bottom that will prevent it from coming out any other way, and I could have risked breaking it if I tried another way. Edit: I also put some machine oil on the metal ball that holds the "joystick" so that it rolls much smoother and doesn't hang on a specific direction

Thanks I had to disassemble mine because my friend threw it on the ground hard and the switch went misplaced and I had to just open it to move the switch around and put it back in place

Hey! I'm working on a project concerning this. Do you think it would be possible to make these cubes silent? Or at least mostly silent? Thanks!

I got the Chinese clone one and the spinning circle thing (not the ball) and it popped out once I tried to put it back in it fell out again any help
  • @TonyButter9
I tried what you did and the cube just won't open

The original cube has a magnet under the "worry stone" which is supposedly a homeopathic thing. My clone has a metal piece under it (the housing is transparent) but it is not magnetic whatsoever, as confirmed by the use of magnet paper. I need to get a dosimeter as it wouldn't surprise me if the metal block in mine is radioactive Because China.
  • I’m having trouble with the circle clicky part it’s just that it won’t click anymore
