"This declaration of a state of emergency will give the state the ability to give these communities expedited assistance. At the moment, we have no outstanding requests for services the State can provide to our local communities to help in the aftermath of these storms," said Governor DeWine. "However, we are in this for the duration and will continue to help local communities in Northeast Ohio as they recover from the damage left by the storm, should we receive any new request for services the State is able to provide."

People will remember this delay at election time.

Insurance companies should be putting the trillions of filthy dollars they collect to work! And the government could easily help with taxes and relief for supplies

I thought this must be old news that just hit my timeline. Why is he just now declaring a state of emergency?

I feel for all of those hit by the recent tornadoes. We had a tornado come up our street a couple of months ago and things still are not back to normal yet!!

I happened to have a phone call with a DHS person who is there helping them recover. I didn’t know the DHS helps out in emergencies. Thank you Joanna ❤

They say it wasnt that bad...but if you were in Bedford you would say something different. ive never seen anything like it. trees on houses everywhere, wires down, fires from blown transformers .. it was extremely rough. i rode it out under an over pass on 271 as the second twister crossed

I'm watching this new guy and thinking, I didn't know they still made Brylcreem. Then I notice his brilliant blue eyes, they're quite nice but he does have a sort of shocked look on his face as if one of his coworkers put a tack on his chair right before they started to broadcast.
