Its been a year since my last FTP Test so lets see where we are. The Allez has been OUTSTANDING so I made a few upgrades. I swapped the OSPW to a CeramicSpeed system and gained some free speed with the addition to of the DT Swiss ARC1100's. I must say... they fit the Allez *VERY well.     Not really a fan of those welds on the Allez but your build is off the freakin chain!! Just bought a powermeter so your comments about FTP and training resonate.

    On the DT Swiss 1100 what internal width are they? Was looking at Aeroads and trying to figure out if they have the newer 20mm ID model or the older (I think 19 or even 17?). On the FTP, I find the ramp inflates the number a bit if you are a strong dude with good burst power. I know for me I get +15w on the ramp versus a 20min test and I have good 1s-5min power but I fall off after that. 20 min test with a negative split feels more accurate to what I can actually do for an hour to me. Outside I like to test on hills, but really the trainer is easiest for ramp... trying to do them on flat roads is really hard.

    I wonder wether there is something wrong with your FTP tests... looking at your sprint power I would expect way more than 225 or 242 W FTP
