It’s because guys like Jokic, Luka destroy the “bigger, stronger, faster” narrative the current NBA likes to put forward. They wanna pretend this is the greatest era of NBA athletically. But when two of the most un-athletic guys are 2 of the top 3 players in the NBA this year…it kills that narrative…and they can’t stand it. It also shows what skilled past players from the 80’s and 90’s would do in this NBA. Which, again, kills the narrative.

He’s isnt a media darling because he’s not black. What a shock

Just the way Jokic is able to elevate every other teammate on the court is absolutely stunning. I'm constantly shocked by the way he orchestrates everything. Not to mention those crazy passes.

Man how I wish for Jokic to win it all again this year. Not just because he's such a great player, not just because he seems to really be a different person than all these divas and brats, but especially to shut all the haters up once and for all.

I just don't understand the Jokic hate. Nobody can do what he does. Only a select few players in NBA history impact the game like he does. That's why the Nuggets are worried about the "non Jokic minutes". His presence changes the entire game. He is the best player in the world. That has to mean something. Nobody can be the best in the world at something and not go down as one of the greats. It is a shame we have to tear down a player who exhibits the traits Jokic does on and off the court. No scandals, humble, cares about team play, and most importantly... His horses.
