  • @JustStuey
If you don't think Ronaldo is the best, you're either deluded, lying, United/Madrid/Juve hater or rival or just insecure over his looks and confidence. He's done it all. Played in 3 of the best leagues. Won ballons & CL'S and two separate clubs. Scored 42 goals on the wing in a 4-4-2. He can play in any system and still he the best. He has the mental side along with the talent and goals. He doesn't get the privilege of playing with Argentina, who've always had better players and have won more trophies than Portugal otherwise there would be no debate whatsoever. There shouldn't be one. Ronaldo returns to the PL at 37 & scores 18 goals in the toughest league in a bad team before hand. The best. The greatest of all time!
  • This is truly the greatest Ronaldo-video ever on youtube. Just look at the amount of effort he put in this video. I hope this will get millions of views!

We cant define this legend in words. He is beyond our vocabulary, he has shown the importance of hardwork in every indivivduals life. as a ronaldo fan i would say that he is not my goat because of trophies but because of tremendous dedication. even if messi wins 100 trophies then also ronaldo will remain my idol, my GOAT. Thats it
  • @ejamovic

  • @Aesong15
What i admire about him is that he doesn't give up, he has that winning mentality that just boosts up the whole team, he taught us that hard work pays off. GOAT

Cristiano Ronaldo's top stats and achievements (for me): - 5 Ballon Dor's (only behind Messi) - Top goalscorer of all time - Won 5 Champions League (only behind Francisco Gento, 1 for Man Utd and 4 for Real Madrid in 9 seasons, Messi won only 4 for Barcelona in 16 seasons!) And the number one: - The ONLY player in History to have won the 3 top European Leagues (English, Spanish and Italian) AND be the top goalscorer in all of them. - People say Messi is the GOAT because he won the World Cup when Ronaldo didn't. You can't compare Argentina with Portugal. Argentina is a nation that already had 2 world cups and had one of the best players of all time (Maradona). It's one of the elite nations of football alongside Brazil, Germany, Italy, France and more recently, Spain. These are the 6 elite nations of football. With the exception of England's victory in 1966, EVERY world cup in the last 70 years has been won by one of these 6 nations. They dominate football. Portugal belongs to the second class of football nations, alongside England, Netherlands, Uruguay, Belgium and Croatia. Nations that are also strong in football but struggle to win competitions, because they are not still quite at the same level as the elite 6. And despite this, Ronaldo was a key player in helping Portugal win Euro 2016 with goal/assist contributions in 6/9 of Portugal's goals in that tournament, and bagging a key hat trick against Switzerland to help Portugal win the Nations League in 2019. The fact is that if Messi was Portuguese and Ronaldo was Argentinean, Ronaldo would have already probably won a world cup, and Messi would have probably never won a world cup. It's an unfair comparison, as one belongs to an elite football nation and the other one doesn't yet. And the latter is not the only thing thats unfair. Throughout Ronaldo's career, the amount of hate that Ronaldo has received compared to the amount of praise that Messi has received is a difference from night to day. There has never been a player in HISTORY that has received more hate than Ronaldo did, and manage to bounce back multiple times. From the times when he first played in Manchester United when he was booed literally at every away stadium, to when he played in Spain and received even worse treatment at away games, even to the point of suffering xenophobia for being Portuguese in Spain with the famous chant "ese Portugues, hijo p*** es", no player has been so disrespected as he has been. Even in the Champions league, when he went to Germany, France or Italy, or when he played for Portugal in away matches, he received the same treatment when he got the ball, being booed all the time. Ronaldo has had to face a mountain in his career, Messi a ramp or trampoline. Always protected, never criticised. That just adds even more to Ronaldo's achievements. And finally, people say Messi has won everything after the world cup and has nothing to prove. Wrong! Messi never played in England or Italy. He played in only 1 of the top 3 leagues. Was always in his comfort zone. Was bred by Barcelona, in one of the top teams of all time, with the likes of Iniesta, Xavi and multiple others, and that's why Spain the Euro 2008, WC 2010 and Euro 2012. A far greater achievement than Messi for Argentina. Why weren't they called the GOATS? When Messi finally left Barcelona, after its humiliating downfall in its last few years, he joined possible the strongest team in Europe relative to its internal rivals: PSG. I remember Ronaldo haters saying that Ronaldo's victories in Italy winning the league and becoming its top scorer after was nothing special because Juventus was by far the best team and didn't even managed to win the CL. Well, Messi never achieved those two things for PSG, DESPITE being in a much better team, and probably will never even win a Champions League with them. Champions League, another interesting topic to talk about. Ronaldo won 5 (1 with Man Utd and 4 with Real Madrid), Messi won 4 (all with Barcelona). When Ronaldo went to Man Utd, the top teams in England were Arsene Wenger's Arsenal and Jose Mourinho's Chelsea, NOT Man Utd. Ronaldo was a key man in breaking that and putting Man Utd back in its place. The season 07/08, when Ronaldo won the English League, becoming top scorer AND winning the Champions League, in a team that was NOWHERE near Messi's barcelona was worth 2/4 Champions League that Messi won with Barcelona. Then, he goes to Real Madrid in 2009, at a time when Barcelona was by far the best team. He was once again crucial in ending Barcelona's domination and managed to win 4 Champions League titles with Real Madrid after they had failed to win a single one in more than a decade. He won 4 Champions League with Real Madrid in 9 seasons, the same number as Messi for Barcelona in 16 seasons! He played 7 less seasons and won the same number of Champions League for Real Madrid as Messi did for Barcelona in 16! To conclude, if you think Messi is the GOAT because you consider him to be a magician like no other before him, fair enough, I can accept that. But don't tell me that his career has been better than Ronaldo's, because it hasn't. Winning a world cup with one of the elite teams, whilst the other never played for an elite international team (and still managed to win their first 2 trophies), is an unfair comparison as I mentioned before. Ronaldo, in my opinion, has succeeded far more difficult achievements in his career. Messi did his club career in one of the best footballing teams in History and then "retired" in the team that has the biggest disparity in internal opposition, whilst Ronaldo went to Man Utd at a time when Chelsea and Arsenal were the top teams, and won the league and CL and became the top goalscorer, then moved to Spain at a time when Barcelona was the top team and broke their hegemony, winning the league, becoming the top goalscorer and won 4 champions league in 9 seasons whilst Messi won 4 champions league in a better team for the most part in 16 seasons, and then Ronaldo went to Italy (arguably the easiest challenge of his top 3 league spells), but still a bigger challenge than going to PSG and still managed to win the league and become top goalscorer in his last season for them. As I mentioned, he was the only player in History to win the top 3 European Leagues and be the top goalscorer in all of them. This for more is his top achievement. An achievement that is conveniently forgotten or unknown. And when you add all the hate to his back (when Messi was always pampered in his comfort zone), it even adds more to this achievements. That is why Ronaldo will always be the GOAT for me, because no player in History accomplished so many unique challenges with so much difficulty. Today his best days are clearly behind him. He is about to turn 38 in February (Messi is 35, and Ronaldo at the same age was the top scorer of Serie A), and at this age it will be very difficult to bounce back, but hopefully in the future time will tell how much of a beast this man was, and how unfair so many people were to him. All the best to CR7, the true GOAT for me.
  • @ATLCane
Will always be the GOAT. No one can touch him. Not even the Argentinian dwarf
  • His speed alone destroys even before the skill arrives. Seriously.
