  • I was a male professional ballet dancer for a number of years. When I was young and still training, whenever I ventured into adult classes, I would constantly get the least skilled adults "correcting" me. When I politely told them thank you but I have an instructor for all my corrections, they would get really angry. One particularly talentless person told me I'd never become professional if I didn't listen to advice. One unsaid rule in ballet classes is to never correct someone if you're not the teacher of the class. The only random person that ever corrected me and I didn't mind, first waited until I was outside of class. It wasn't a ballet correction. Then he apologized and asked for my permission to be given a correction. That person was Gregory Hines. Even though he was a dancer of godlike status, he still understood proper etiquette. BTW now with that one correction I can say I was trained by Gregory Hines.... LOL. So lesson, if you want to give advice, ask for permission first. Or just type a longly worded message on YouTube.
  • What killed me is that he took credit for the next, more improved swing. I have no words...
  • @jesseimpersonal
"I've been playing golf for 20 years", he crowed to a touring pro. What a doof.
  • @QuestMode
She should have offered him tickets to her next tournament. Bad ones.
  • @lennydylan
I don't think he was mansplaning, I think he's trying to chat her up !!
  • @benitawolf6531
they did not handle this talk very well … sooo 👎🏼. Also the old man saying „you can’t say anything anymore without being accused“ SERIOUSLY? Seriously? I would laugh if it’s not just so sad
  • @Gloomyboi1523
That guy sitting next to Gyles then procedes to shut down Alison whilst she's explaining what a pad with wings is before she says the word "underwear"🙄
  • @Oudeis000
I admire her divine grace and humility. She knows her superior golfing skills and doesn’t need the approbation or deference of others. Moreover, she shows superiority of moral character in returning kindness for arrogance.
  • @TheRqbsinger
She was so gracious. The definition of humility.
  • @vilena5308
Just start a conversation about golf in general first. Whether you are interested in her or truly tried to help her out. He immediately went to criticize and explain to her how wrong, oh so wrong she was. Realistically speaking, if I saw someone, liked them, wanted to start a conversation, I would certainly not start with commenting how they are doing everything wrong. How can that endear you to them?!!
  • @MelanieCramer
Just think - Mr. "Ive been doing this for 20 years" has probably watched this and hopefully he has wretched in sheer dread!
  • @calikacy
Women - We need to stop being so nice. Why are we so nice?
  • @Timwit84
She is too nice... she has a beautiful swing, even when in the middle of a swing change. The swing that he interrupted, was absolutely beautiful. Imagine thinking just because youve played golf for 20 years you have the confidence to try to mess with THAT swing. The best part is he was probably blading grounders with his PW
  • @Alan-75
Id have said thanks for the advice but im a pga pro so i think i know what im doing.
  • @sophiearsac5350
Such edifying behavior... and such patience! And what a pleasure to see that it is possible to be a champion while being humble with human qualities
  • Isn't being the best WOMAN'S golfer kind of like being the nicest guy in prison. Like do you need an award for that?
  • @michaelchin3550
He was trying to impress her. She is beautiful and he was trying to pick her up.
