Save Bangladeshi Students. Students are unsafe in their motherland.
  • As a common people of Bangladesh, I want the resignation of the current Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina✊🏻
  • Why is the Bangladesh Army not issuing a state of emergency? How many more mother's arms will be empty, the conscience of the Bangladesh Army will be awakened.
  • My dear reporter, I want to inform you that the quota system was banned back in 2018. However, freedom fighters filed a case against this decision, leading the High Court to revoke it. The court has yet to issue an order, and no one knows whether they will cancel the quota system or retain it. The government has already stated that they will recommend the High Court to implement a reduced quota system (20%), but the quota protesters want only a 5% retention. This matter is under discussion and not yet decided or confirmed. The government has called the protesters for a discussion, but they are not agreeing to it. Instead of engaging in discussion, they are demolishing government properties and blocking roads, damaging private properties like cars, buses, and rickshaws. When the police try to prevent this demolition, the protesters attack and beat them, leading to loss of life due to these activities. It seems their intentions go beyond the quota issue. Is it possible for a Prime Minister to bypass all the rules and regulations of a democratic country and declare something without a decision from the court? Can a government judge a High Court case and decide anything on their own? During the freedom fight, there was a population of 50 million in Bangladesh, but only 200,000 people were involved in the fight, while the rest remained silent. One million were refugees in India, and the rest were homeless during the nine months of the fight. If these 200,000 had not participated, Bangladesh might still be part of Pakistan today, without any new identity or rights. Now, this new generation is treating freedom fighters like traitors. How can a freedom fighter and a common man receive the same rights and facilities? Freedom fighters deserve some special facilities as their right because they created this country. This is the government's perspective and what they believe.
