7 BOOKS I GIFTED TO MY DAUGHTER

2021-06-30に共有
Honorable mention: “12 Rules for Life” by Jordan B. Peterson. The reason why this book is not on this list is because my daughter gifted that book to me before I had a chance to give it to her. Otherwise it would definitely be on this list.

1. "How to win friends and influence people" by Dale Carnegie (5:10)
2. "Quiet" by Susan Cain (8:31)
3. "The definitive book of body language" by Allan & Barbara Pease (12:30)
4. "The power of full engagement" by Jim Loehr and Tony Schwartz (14:50)
5. "Fit in one year" by Yuriy Oliynyk (20:46)
6. "Why men don't listen and women can't read maps" by Allan & Barbara Pease (25:36)
7. "The rational male" by Rollo Tomassi (29:27)

Hey Yuriy, thank you for the book recommendations. I now this is not fitness related but how do you manage yourself? I'm 24 and puzzled from the many approaches to productivity, discipline and goal achieving. I read many books over the years but tbh I was sever satisfied and mostly overwhelmed. I am asking you this because I also had this problem with weightlifting. One guy said do this routine the other said do this. Do this amount of volume, do this kind of diet . Thanks to you book I actually stick to the program for the last 4 weeks already. I think the reason for this is that it sticks to the most important stuff while keeping easy to understand. Also you didn't need 500 pages to explain to make it beginner friendly. This is such a tremendous victory for me.Thank you for that. So the question is do you have similar simple but effective approaches to discipline, productivity, habits, goal setting? Do you have a schedule or to do list or maybe even both? Do you do it digitally or on paper? I will start from scratch. Unlearn anything and stick to the basics. From the results i got from your book I am convinced that you could give me great tips :D

Hi Yuriy, Can you gain muscle on your fit in one year program? I want to build muscle but I like to feel fit too so I bought that book instead of the big and strong one
