    Dr phil shouldn’t tell him he’s a burden 😕
  • @samsanford8328
People don’t understand what Dr Phil meant by saying “burden” he’s saying that from this guys perspective not his own as In how he feels. He’s not actually saying he’s a burden he’s just describing how he feels
  • @BoarAlys
This is by far one of the worst episodes of Dr. Phil. You don't just call someone a burden, especially in that scenario, having to live that life and having no say in it.
  • I really like him..hes a good dude...I understand where hes coming from..
  • @deenawomack4661
Nice Dr. Phil, I am sure the guy already knows he a burden, I can't imagine what its like. Sounds like he needs some therapy to help with his feelings and how to express them. Instead, you just made him feel even worse. This is a very broken man, you can see it in his face. I get that it doesn't condone is actions, but I seriously think teaching him how to communicate, how to accept his disabilty and how to accept his fate. I am not a therapist, but surely there is a better word than burden.
  • @BrainError
I feel bad for the guy though. I know his behaviour isn't healthy, but I get it. Being chronically ill myself I always have felt like a burden to everyone in my life. It's hard not to feel that way and I've spent years being angry (mostly at myself). It's so tough to overcome. I hope they're both happier now.

Calling someone a jerk when you put fake doctor title in your show.. now thats a real jerk
  • @Honeymoon1988
He’s so handsome and also I couldn’t even understand how he feels every day but she’s a good woman to him and he deserves that.
  • @m0thb0n3z
This show is doing no good for anyone
  • Dr Phil was way too harsh here, he publicly humiliated the guy and that woman needs to find somebody else, she knew what she signed up for.
  • @sonias9722
it's appalling of her to say that he is at three. First of all - no one asked her. Secondly, she doesn't know what it's like.

“Why he would be such a jerk????” Cause he was paralyzed, he is going through the motion, he needs reassurance that ppl aren’t giving him. He doesn’t want pity he wants to be independent and he wants that support w out ppl like his girlfriend telling him what’s wrong with him. He already knows!! Wtf is this
  • @TSKseattle
"squirmy and Grubs", Hannah and Shane, were asked to be on this episode until they found out that Phil was just going to make the case that the disability makes him useless, and hold them up as shining examples. Dr Phil is the jerk - he has a negative agenda and he wants to put people down
  • @rainyang9478
I hope he is doing good now. He seems like a good guy going through a hard time.
  • @GroudFrank
Yo! It amazes me that so many people in the comments section could be so THICK. Dr. Phil wasn't calling him a burden. He was explaining to the guy how he feels about himself i.e. saying he feels like a burden to everyone around him, not that he IS actually a burden. Jesus Christ!
  • Don’t like the way Dr. Phil handled this. You can have empathy and sympathy. The guy is going through something that most people - including Dr. Phil DON’T understand, because they only have clinical knowledge, not first hand experience. It would be impossible for Dr. Phil to truly know what it’s like without living it. This guy isn’t a jerk, he’s suffering. All creatures lash out when they’re in pain or they’re distressed, I would have thought a psychologist would have handled the issues with more tact and gentleness. Save the “tough love” act for entitled Californian teenagers, give real, kind therapy to people like this who NEED and deserve it.
