It's Finally Here.. (Minecraft Warden Update)

“Minecraft’s a horror game now!” It always has been Dan. Ever since cave noises were added.

With how much more complex the warden and frog animations are, I’m hoping some more mobs get animation updates

Fun fact: wool helps suppress your footsteps and you can use them as an alternative to build away from danger without making a noise, just dont place the wool on any sculk, and also they can block the sculk sensors from detecting sound

Not gonna lie, I know a lot are upset that the warden doesnt drop loot, but I think that having the warden be this mob that you need to iust escape from will add some new types of enemies into the game, ones that you dont always fight

They really went and made minecraft into a horror game. I was already scared enough trying to mine in caves, this would terrify me to just randomly find it in a survival world, especially if I didn’t know about it.

To anyone asking if the Warden will ever drop loot, I doubt it. They’ve made it pretty clear they don’t want it to be another mob people want to fight, but rather to avoid and if it doesn’t drop anything there is no use in fighting it. It honestly makes sense and is pretty cool.

Could you imagine a skulk game where there’s sensors everywhere, when a warden spawns, you throw snowballs at each other to make noise and see you survives last

To anyone who thinks that the Warden isn’t that OP after Philza ate a Notch Apple. Remember that a Notch Apple with Protection IV Netherite Armor makes you practically invincible. A Sharpness V Netherite Sword basically does next to no damage when combined with the regeneration, and resistance, from the Notch Apple and the Protection IV from the armor. While the Warden here can still take off 2 hearts easily with each hit. Plus, I’m pretty sure you’re not gonna have a stack of Notch Apples in your inventory on your survival world. Just to some up his strength and resistance is unbelievably terrifying.

The "portal" could give access to a void dimension and the warden and chests would give the requirements for lighting it

The Warden was terrifying when I tried it in the snapshot, but now it's less terrifying knowing now that I can use snowballs to escape from certain doom. Unironically, if Mojang made a horror game, I would be up for it.

The Warden will likely replace Herobrine with the fear and horror concept of Minecraft. But Herobrine will always forever live on in the hearts of the OGs.

Can we just have a round of applause for Mojang for the AI of the Warden, the Ancient Cities, the new Enchantment, the Sculk, and literally everything they've done for Minecraft (oh, and for Dan for suffering through the Warden to showcase us this content)

Matpats going to have a field day squeezing all the lore this new structure haves

They should make a potion that masks your scent so you can sneak around a Warden, but the only way you can make it is going into the deep dark and mining a material

2:48 the way it creeps the neck after hearing you, pausing for a second, looking towards you, and charge instantly

For all of you who are wondering, the warden has 250 hearts, or 500 health. That's the health of a wither and an ender dragon combined.
