"They warned me satan would be attractive...." Kills me every time
  • I feel so bad for Flanders. He's the nicest person in town and Homer treats him so badly for some reason

Just noticed that Flaners' season pass is No. 00001, implying he's the only person that's ever bought one.

I love Ned Flanders so much. He’s been through a lot. He lost his wife, Maude. And then when he found love again and married Edna, she died. And yet he still keeps his faith in God and never gives up on Him. He’s very nice and faithful and is such a good neighbor to Homer, even when Homer gives him 0 respect. Love ya Flanders my man💚
  • What I love about Flanders is despite his character becoming a parody of his original concept he's still the moral center of The Simpsons.

Childhood: hating Ned Adulthood: realizing Ned didn't deserve all the hate he received

Everybody’s gangster until you get no bible stories for the night.
  • Ned’s rant is so satisfying because of how relatable it is. We all know a smartass underachiever, a pretentious contrarian, the ‘funny guy’ who is anything but - how much healthier would we all be if we could snap at them lol
  • The family reunion scene is my favorite, especially when all the family members respond to Homer at the same time.
  • You missed a great moment. Wigum: And once a man is in your house, anything you do to him is niiccee and legal. Homer: Is that so? Oh Flanders, won't you join me in my kitchen? evil laugh Wigum: Err doesn't work if you invite him. Flanders: Hidly hey! Homer: Go home. Flanders: Dodly do!

"Open the door Maude I don't have time for the secret knock" "I'm panicking Neddy I can't work the knob" Sreams and kicks in the door while bear casts him look of utter innonence. Brilliant. Comedy classic.

Why is no one talking about Ned's meltdown? Probably the funniest moment in the simpsons

The thing about Ned is, when he has his green jumper on, he has no shoulders at all -- they practically taper right into his neck, and his body is like a triangle with the point at the top. But when he takes his jumper off, the triangle goes the other way, and Ned has massive shoulders and chest. Same thing with Willy.
  • Ned's break down is entirely justified. Everything he said was true. He tries his best to be godly and loving, he puts up with so much crap. Then his home blows away in a hurricane and everyone makes things worse.
  • "He actually wrote diddly." That line STILL makes me cackle harder than it should. xD Homer's delivery on it was flawless.
