Holy hades I've not played the game yet but this song sounds like it was MADE for Odessa.

Normally, I'm to busy trying to keep from getting my face caved in to really enjoy this song, but holy shit is it good!

This is by far my favorite boss fight in Hades 2. I love it when you defeat one of the Sirens, that part of the production cuts out! Awesome cover!

Honestly- This is a song to which I feel that this cover is better than the original or other versions. Your voice is bassy enough to where it feels like a terrifying ocean gale that would likely be what inspired a siren's call's disaster, and what you did as your own embelishments just generally feel like a lot more aggressive and abrasive in an amazing way, almost like there is a malice in the song, but not one with the intent to fuck over someone invidually, no it feels like the song when sung by you is almost a sadistic muse of enjoyment. That sort of tone is especially present in the "Come to my my tasty morsels" section, almost feeling like a a taunt of an antagonist who knows they won already and are merely tormenting their prey just a little further. And that is not to even come to the ending call, that opera-like preformance is a stellar ending note for the piece, feeling like the storied version of the Siren's Call, pulling in any who dare stray too close to the rocks where they rest. Man on the Internet did their own version and it feels more up beat somehow, as if they turned the song into a different major key. Meanwhile the original in comparison you can tell the instrumentals were supposed to take focus for the person playing to have an easier time to try and match the music to the battle ahead with Scylla, almost like the song as neutered for the sake of the game even though as a baseline it is absolutely killer.

This cover is the best cover of this banger song!

Discovered this song yesterday as I started playing Hades 2 and got to the Scylla fight, and I cant get enough of it. Great cover, you have an amazing voice! I imagine you've already done it judging by your performance of other shanties and your playthrough of AC Black Flag, but can I suggest Parting Glass? I really like that song and I think you would absolutely smash it
